“I lived in Pine Crest for 3 years. Loved it! So nice and peaceful. Great neighbors. The Super Mike is the best. Always pleasant and helpful. The grounds are kept so nice. Love all the flowers in the spring. The office staff are also so pleasant. Would recommend Pine Crest to anyone moving to Hunterdon County. ☺️”

“A truly amazing place to live. My fiancé and I couldn’t be happier with how the last year living here has gone. The staff here are quick and responsive with maintenance. The buildings are updated and spacious for apartments. Also the location is great as well for shopping and activities.”

“I rarely had a problem when I lived there. Lived there for 10 years and rarely had a problem. Very, very quiet. The only thing is that back in October of 2020, me and my then 17 year old daughter had an incident with the downstairs neighbor standing in front of his window with no pants on and pleasuring himself. Went to police and they did nothing. Wrote a letter to management and they did nothing. The only time they do something is when money is involved.”

“I’ve lived here for a year and a half and I am really surprised it’s only rated 3 stars. So, here’s an honest review for my time here.Pros: one of the most important things for us was cost & style of the apartment. These are very unique apartments with very high ceilings, a modern feel and definitely an appropriate price point. The windows are massive and some of the units even have full back patios. We can fit a 10 seating dining table and a 112” sofa very comfortably in our apartment. Which is impressive! These are much more affordable than other modern style apartments in the valley because they do not have any amenities like a gym or a pool. If you are willing to give that up; you will definitely save some money here. Our neighbors here are friendly. We love that the silk mill is dog friendly & allows all breeds. We live in L building and hardly hear anyone. Our neighbors are very polite & respectful. We have also had our neighbors tell us they almost never hear our daughter who is a baby, and when they do it’s very faint. Our neighbor next to us told us they didn’t even know a baby was living here for months. I’ve seen a lot of reviews about noise but I personally don’t have that issue in the L building. All of our maintenance requests were handled immediately. Todd is an awesome asset to the silk mill and problem solved all our issues. Stephen is also very friendly and has helped resolve any issues we had. There are also breweries, a distillery, restaurants, a winery, a gym, coffee shop, ice cream shop….whatever you want it’s walking distance. You can also take a walk down the arts trail right next to the silk mill and get to downtown Easton if your up for the walk. It’s really nice for festivals likeBacon fest or garlic fest so you don’t have to worry about parking. You can also get a tax break for living here because it’s a historic building.Cons: there is plenty of parking, but it’s not always in the most convenient location. When we have a lot to bring inside we park outside the door then move the car once unloaded if there isn’t a close spot. So not really an issue for us. Covered parking next to our building is $100 a month and pretty much empty. I would have purchased a spot if it was more reasonable. There isn’t a trash service so you have to walk it to the dumpsters. There are a lot of people who drive way too fast so you have to be careful when crossing the street or the parking lot. There aren’t community events so you may not really ever meet your neighbors. Our bills here are more expensive than our home which was 2,000 sq ft. But we run our dishwasher and our washer/drier everyday sometimes multiple times. Our master bedroom is very small, but I know other apartments have rooms much larger! Depends on what unit you get as they’re all different.Overall we are really happy living here & the cons are minor, most don’t even bother us but I figured some people would want to know. We have already recommended the silk mill to some of our friends & family looking for a new place. Lengthy review, but when your looking for somewhere to live it helps to know a lot of details.”
