Never ever ever use this moving company. They tried to overcharge me almost $1000 more once they unloaded my furniture the day of the move. Once I unwrapped the furniture and the couches because it was in storage for two months there was a ton of damage. THEY PUT IT IN THE STORAGE UNIT. THEY JAMMED IT AND DRAGGED THE COUCHES INSTEAD OF LIFTING THEM. My couches were ripped and an antique piece of furniture had the handle broken off and a brand refrigerator was scratched and dented. I have been going back-and-forth with them for six months and they refused to fix or replace or reimburse me for the damage even though they talked me into buying the most expensive insurance policy with them. If I could give NEGATIVE 5 stars, I would. Judy in the office is horrendous to work with. I see your reply. Yes ITS THE RIGHT COMPANY. NANCY DOYLE AND JUDY FISHER

Thx for the automated reputation management program response. How about some actual customer service regarding the below issues?
We used this company for a long-distance move. It was the 7th such move for me. I was very impressed with the driver. As for this local company . . . the worst I've ever experienced. By far!
1. Poor communication
2. Lack of "free" packing materials
3. Wanted to do the final walk-through by facetime (geez!)
4. 1 large furniture item added after the original quote. That jacked up the estimate $1200.
5. Packers showed up with no idea how much they had to pack
6. Schedule was completely off. We were picked up on 6/12. Delivery window was 6/18-24. Driver got here 6/14. We had to scramble to get here in time.
7. There was major damage to 2 pieces of antique furniture. The pieces were brought into the house without a word about the damage. Like . . . maybe they won't notice?
8. For claims, they turn you over to an outside company that's impossible to deal with.
9. Their response to my complaint was an auto-generated email.

I’d give more than five stars if possible. Never had moving experience before but working with everyone at Wade Odell Wade made a stressful situation seamless. From my first meeting with Jim Murphy to every step thereafter it was such a pleasure and easy move. Honest, courteous, even enjoyable experience. Nancy made communication effortless and was so kind with my numerous questions. Eddie and his team were so professional and pleasant throughout the packing move portion that it was such a relief. We will be using Wade odell Wade again shortly for a second move and I am so grateful knowing that my experience will be without stress and will be perfectly handled. Highly recommend this company!

Our move was seamless. From the initial estimate to scheduling our pick up, then the actual pick and final delivery all the WOW team members were great. Great communication! Very professional. No hidden charges. I would absolutely recommend WOW United to our friends. Lamar our driver and support team on both sides were exceptional. They respected our homes and took care with our belongings.

A LOSS OF $2,400.00 AND STILL I'M GIVING 3 STARS.
The customer service with this company was very helpful they answer the phone and questions. Our move went really well and was quick.
HONEST REVIEW of FACTS
Why am I giving 3 stars? Because the AFTER MOVE was NOT as easy and cooperative. We purchased the full coverage insurance. We had some damage during the move in where the movers hit the wall of our home creating a dent and broke the plastic sill of the window which can only be fixed via a full replacement.
Dave our mover was so accommodating and felt awful. I asked him at the time how do we handle and he said I am making notes of it here on the moving documents and you will need to contact the office.
After we got a little settled I reached out and they had a new coordinator who was very nice and accommodating. I told her what happened that I had a few pieces broken a broken window and damaged wall. She said I had 90 days to report everything. Great, so we finished unpacking and then was told to go on line to file the claims which I did. My claims included pictures and estimates for everything.
We got monies to repair the damaged book case and replace the food processor. However there was a long lag for the window and the wall repair and paint. I followed up with the folks who had started emailing us after filing the claim regarding the damaged window and the wall. After several attempts to resolve (told someone would reach out, call this number, that person is not available we'll have them call....) I was finally told that it was property damage and that Wade Odell needed to follow up. By that time it had been 6 months since our move. I call Wade Odell and told it's been so long they need to pull the file and then a week later I get a message saying there are no notes on the file and that they aren't responsible because it's been too long and that it should have been reported the moment it happened. Dave did not make that clear and when I called about damages I was told I had 90 days. We are out 650.00 to replace a window and 1800 dollars to repair the Hall way wall and repaint the hall.
I took a while to write this because I didn't want to write an angry review. When I made the online claim with all the details someone from Wade Odell should have reached out to me about the property damage and no one did. I understand it was during the time of a new coordinator but regardless no excuse, things fall through the cracks I get it but it was so disappointing after spending as much as we did on the move and the extra insurance. We were incredibly frustrated after receiving confident customer service where our move cost us an additional and unexpected $2,400.00.

Having worked at the corporate headquarters of one the top 2 moving companies, I can attest that these guys are 5 stars. I have moved with them locally and they are excellent. The employees have been there for a long time and are treated well which doesn't happen often in this industry. This makes a difference in the quality of their services. The pricing is direct, transparent and fair. Great care is taken in packing, storage , transport and unpacking. Look no further for a moving company. These guys are the best.

BEWARE !!!!!
Left 8 TIGHTLY wrapped pallets of vodka in storage for a year with WoW. Upon picking up the pallets yesterday I noticed a case of my vodka in the garbage can of the warehouse, as seen in the photos. After bringing this to the attention of David the owner, and Ed the warehouse manager, I was told "a case fell from the pallet". This scenario is impossible given the nature of how the pallets were packed for shipment, as seen in the photos. Once the pallets arrived to their new storage location, I noticed the tamper proof seal (with my signature) was removed from one of the pallets, and subsequently re-wrapped. After reporting this to Wow and waiting over 2 hours without a response, I went to the Oakland PD to file a report. One can make their own assumptions on this "reputable" company and their hard working employees.

Other than Jim Murphy being awesome the rest of the company is horrible. We had for a long distance move and we have done many before, none with this company though. The coordinator didn’t stay in touch as she should had. The crew was late to show up and nobody could tell me who or when people were supposed to work. The crew leader Luigi wrote down every one of our items was scratched or rubbed which was a lie. At the very end of packing after we observed our couch get ripped we realized he had been doing this. Instead of making him correct all the items we just had him correct our most expensive items to show they weren’t damaged. The packing crew was bad and we had lots of damaged items. The crew that packed our stuff stole a back massager and the driver that showed up late in Florida told me he observed him steal it too. Complete ineptitude on both ends of the move and I ended up having to file claims on tons of items. Also the unpackers they sent me in Florida was a 62 year old disabled man and a 72 year old man that were supposed to carry my stuff to a third floor. They complained and could not have completed the job without me helping. The broke apart my tv stands, stratched my furniture all up and didn’t seem to care. My boxes were crushed coming off the truck. Pathetic, thieves, and incompetent. Very disgusted.

We were presented with paperwork to sign after the movers finished. The crew foreman lied to us and said we had 90 days to dispute any damage or missing items, so we signed. Shortly after, we discovered damage to our brand new hardwood floors ($1,200 repair) and submitted a claim to Wade Odell Wade. The claim was denied because we had signed the paperwork - there is no period to dispute if you sign. The foreman had lied straight to our faces. They caused damage to our new home and would not do the right thing and compensate for the repair. Be wary of doing business with Wade Odell Wade. Completely unprofessional.

The team were efficient, professional & friendly movers who handled a large loading job of a large containers. They stacked everything securely, and packed a giant van solidly. The members of the crew were personable and courteous. Stacked everything perfect into my apartment which was not easy. Nancy was great to deal with as well. I highly recommend WOW movers. Thank you!!
