Could not be happier with my decision to get my custom wedding suit from Jorge at Sal Lauretta. At first I was unsure if I wanted to go the custom route, but once I sat down and started the process I had zero doubts. Having every single aspect of the suit built the way I wanted it to my own specifications was truly an awesome experience. The three piece suit I had made is the best fitting piece of clothing I own, and looks incredible. It looks and feels of impeccable quality and I know it will last me a lifetime. Not to mention the never ending compliments and comments I got from my wedding guests!
But the real difference maker through the whole process was having Jorge there to walk me through it all start to finish. I was able to fully trust him through the process as I let him guide me through the styles and looks that would make my suit stand out on my big day. His knowledge and expertise is unmatched, and he really made me feel comfortable start to finish. If you want to look and feel your best for a big event, Sal Lauretta is the place to go!

For my New Year's Eve wedding, I chose Sal Lauretta’s, and my experience with them was exceptional. Opting for a custom velvet tuxedo, Jorge guided us through every detail, from the jackets inner-lining, the shoes, the shirt, and the bow tie, ensuring perfection. My visit was guided by their 4.8 star google reviews. Upon entering the store I was overwhelmed with the selection and quality of clothes and accessories. Excellent selection. From outerwear to fine custom suits. My salesman Ted was very professional, accommodating and patient with my selections. I never felt rushed. Thank you, Ted for such a sterling service. Full custom tailoring done on location for a perfect fit. This store has been a fixture in Bergen County for almost 50 years. Very easy parking

I’ve stopped in a number of times over the years, but decided to finally make my first suit purchase at Sal Lauretta and it couldn’t have been more enjoyable. Jorge provided fantastic service and made choosing a stunning new suit an experience. I’d highly recommend to anyone looking for menswear that’s a cut above the rest.

Sal Lauretta is top notch. George helped get me fitted into a custom tuxedo for my wedding. He not only went above and beyond to make sure everything fit properly, but he also had some great advice on accessories and other important aspects of styling the tuxedo. I will certainly be back!

From the day we first walked into Sal Lauretta’s we knew we were in great hands and trusted them to create my husband’s tuxedo for our wedding day. We worked with Jorge and Ralph who took my husband’s measurements and walked us through all of the options available. We had originally gone in looking for something slim-fit but due to my husband’s athletic physique, with their expertise we decided that going custom was the way to go. We then went through their books to sample different fabric and lining patterns and hand selected every detail. We had the option to choose the size of the lapels as his preference was thin peaked.. we also chose the cut and exact style of the buttons on the vest to complete the look. Once the custom tuxedo was done and we came in for our first fitting, Jorge went into stylist mode and helped my husband select his custom pleated tuxedo shirt and a beautiful velvet black tie to top it off. We loved that they offer the option to embroider your name inside the lining as a special touch. Jorge and Ralph were professional, responsive and knowledgeable from start to finish of our process. The pictures say a thousand words at how perfect the tuxedo fit my husband. He felt and looked his very best on our wedding day and we couldn’t have been happier with the end result. Thank you Jorge, Ralph and the Sal Lauretta's team. Looking forward to working with you for many years to come!

My late father was a long time customer at Sal Lauretta’s. There was no other place that I could see myself getting my custom wedding tuxedo made to measure.Jorge was a great partner throughout the whole process, and helped me pick out the perfect design. The tux came out just as I imagined, and fit like a glove.Would recommend Sal Lauretta’s to anyone looking for a world class menswear shop, and an excellent team to work with. Found this place years ago and it is my go-to spot for all holiday shopping for the men in my life. The quality of the clothes is exceptional and the staff is always so friendly and helpful with sizing options. If your man loves to golf- their golf attire is amazing and my guy looks so stylish on the course now !

I had a great experience working with George at Sal Lauretta’s. He helped me find a suit for my daughter’s Bat Mitzvah. I do not enjoy shopping for cloths but Jeorge made this a wonderful experience. I also have to give credit to the team of Taylor’s at the store. I had to get my suit adjusted last minute and they were able to do it for me all in one day. I highly recommend this store and will definitely go back.
