The owners and some of the teachers are good educators. They are patient and work with your child. My son did well here for a while. His first two teachers were fantastic, and he learned a lot. The last teacher for pre-k was horrible and very passive-aggressive to me and my child. I decided to change schools because it was productive for my son's education, and he did need to be in a hostile environment.

I cannot say enough GREAT things about this daycare! My son started here when he was only 4 months old. As a new mom, I was anxious and worried he might struggle to adjust, but the owners were so warm and loving from day one, treating him as if he were their own! Miss Jen, Mr. Ricky and Ms. Carolyn are the best! They would carry him around when he only wanted to be held - even into their own office! My son has struggled with eczema, and everyone has been so supportive ensuring whatever he needs they are happy to do, even offered to order a special mattress cover if it would help with allergies. Truly, I cannot imagine a better daycare with kinder people! He is now 9 months old and at drops offs, he practically jumps in any of the teachers arms and waves good-bye to his mama with a big smile. There is no better feeling than knowing that he is HAPPY and cared for when he is there. We are so grateful to have found them!

I'm so happy with first steps. My daughter started when she was 7 months and is now 16 months. She is soo happy there. They always greet us with a smile and have such great energy. The owners have become family to us. It feels like she is with her family when I drop her off everyday. And as a first time mom that's such an amazing and important feeling to have while at work and away from my baby girl. The owners are amazing as well as their staff. If I could, I would give 10 stars.

I couldnt say enough great things about this school! The owners Ms. Jen & Mr. Ricky are absolutely AMAZING! Since day 1 of my daughter attending their school they have treated her like family. All the teachers in the school are absolutely wonderful & truly care about their students ! Love this school & Love them !

My boys have been going there since august 2021 and they LOVE it! We started daycare later than expected due to work schedules and childcare conflicting one another. I was SO nervous and scared for someone else other than family to watch my kids. The owners Mr Ricky and Mrs Jen and the staff are like family and I couldn’t have picked a better place for my boys to go ALL day so this mama can work. They do fun activities as well as curricular work. Fridays are pizza days, and during the summer they do water play. Today they actually had an ICE CREAM TRUCK come for all the kids! The communication is A+ and every day at pick up I always get an update, this school also uses the brightwheel app to update parents during the day such as what they ate, diaper changes, notes for parents and pictures! This school has cameras in every room for safety as well, god forbid something were to happen that security is there. Any time someone asks me for a daycare recommendation I will 100% day First Steps. Keep it up! :)

So happy with this school. The owners are wonderful people and they have created a loving environment where the children learn and grow . My son had a very hard time transitioning and I can’t thank them enough for their care and attention.

We had been using this daycare for years. My daughter attended there for 4 years with previous owners and my son recently started to attend as we felt comfortable post-pandemic.Just last week my wife was asked for him to be switched to half days (Supposedly this is not an offered service) because he needed more "one on one" time (He did not want to nap during nap time...). We replied back that this is pretty much useless since we both work from home and would like for him to continue till he is ready for pre-K in the fall. At that point, they gave us an end date because my son required more "one on one". The real reason is that they were soon to be understaffed and could not handle all the age groups efficiently.After having that conversation in person with the business owners making baseless, non-medically backed suggestions to us we decided that this place was no longer for us.No public camera system is offered to parents so it is hard to believe or understand the accusations against our son.

I wish this school much success. The owners are super friendly and go out of their way to make sure they take care of their children. The owner worked so hard to get her playground set up and I was glad to help her. I wish them nothing but success
