Besides this carrier leaving the door open on my mailbox several times, never putting the flag down ( a couple of times in the rain), leaving outgoing mail in my mailbox, I have had several late payments even though I sent payments way ahead of time! For the money these people get, they need to step up and do their job correctly. Oh did I mention now all of a sudden I get late evening delivery??

It’s so sad, you can’t even trust the one’s that’s suppose to deliver your items or hold your items for you to pick up anymore. I received a notification that my order was delivered and that I picked it up at the USPS however that is a lie. It is most likely that an employee stole my item and marked it as delivered. So sad and disappointing!

I honestly don't understand this place! Do they pull names out of a hat when they hire staff here? Why bother even coming to work if you're going to be miserable! No thankyou! Very inconvenient that I have to drive to south Plainfield to get good service...and OMG forget about the mail carriers...try my own mailbox please ..my name is written ON my box..in huge letters...take the 30 seconds and do your job!

Had a package delivered that required a signature. I wasn’t home to sign and now am being yelled at telling me my package was picked up by me personally and I was out of state. I’m falling the feds and getting this place looked into. And believe me, it’s going to happen.

Helpful and professional staff doing a tough job with a lot of possible points of failure that they can’t usually control.

Long lines & as evidenced by many reviews, some of the post workers at this location need to improve their customer service skills. Convenient/central location but lacking in manners towards the general public. Thank you.

Got to our 2:30 appointment at 2:30 meanwhile we waited 15 minutes to see worker come and tell us to reschedule… how rude! Also be mindful of people picking up kids and making effort to be there on time.. it’s incredible how people do not care for anyone anymore …

The post office needs to be more responsible when it comes to scanning packages. I have a package that's been sitting there at their location for 10 days?

I'm writing in regards to not only the unprofessionalism me and my motherencountered at the USPS office at Middlesex, NJ 95 Malborough Ave, but offensive misogynistic and racial terms coming from this employee Jakira (who's black herself) as well as a male co-worker of hers who was also unpleasant, unprofessional, and codoning her actions while talking to both of us as if we are inferior beings and as if we didn't need to be there. This seriously needs to be addressed, especially when Jakira blurted in our faces that "You black females" along with other derogatory and racially offensive quarrels with a laugh and smirk 3 times. The actions and embarrasment infront of the few customers coming in and out of the office that I had to clandestinley record midscenario wishing I've recorded earlier. We never had these issues even before they started working here and I've shipped here with no issues for years. At 12 p.m. today same date I'm documenting this, me and my mother carried a package to sit onthe table where other packages are located to drop. As soon as Jakira picked up her eyes tonotice, she claimed how the package can't be shipped at all with a horrible attitude withoutexplaining. My mother asked politely why it can't be shipped since we know the guidelines and restrictions already with length limits. I've had her drop a bulky big box before where Jakira and employee claim how they can't take the box but the next day that was shipped out of office with nothing sent back to our house. As soon as my mother told her calmly but sternly that she had an attitude and as I tried to bring the tension with Jakira to bring the attention more on the packaging, she talked over us while yelling she doesn't care what profession she's in and said "y'all black females" 3x and kept saying "y'all black females love to be loud and want to brawl, I deal with black females all the time in here it be y'all", "and all of "US" are prejudice towards her while she laughed and did a smirk when the weird thing is was acting what she was referring to and we don't even come that kind of background nor behavior which is hurtful and stereotypical. She even disregarded that my 63 year old mother is tone deaf where she's trying to explain and calm down this unruly employee as I wanted a supervisor. Her and the man employee refused to give us any numbers nor names labeling how they had some people come to their house. This was so generalizing and so unnecessary! He also lied how the packaging is way over 20 lbs and have to pay $182.15 although it's USPS Parcel and took care of the label online already. He was so rude tagging along with her that he threatened to call the cops on us. My mother was shaken by her wrist and wanted to cry and made it look like we were bad people when they are the ones acting vulgar. We took the package to a different USPS and was treated with such care where this employee said we need to write them up. There's many reviews regarding this same office and insidious employees that I will make it known as well. If you encounter this too, place say something as well as the same black women Jakira has made trouble and done this too although I see all races of people made complaints too.I will try to post the clip of the scenario, her talking over, and most importantly making the anti-black women comments if Google reviews allows me.

If I could give the workers at the post office a negative review I would. I just took my 2 month old to get his passport application processed. The USPS website says it takes passport pictures so I went expecting an easy process. When we got there the two post office workers declined to take the picture because they didn't have the proper white background for an infant. I went home and got a white blanket as told. When I came back, I got an attitude from the clerk saying that now they didn't have the proper camera to take the picture and I just should just go to CVS and bring the picture to them. They kept insisting they can't it until I challenged them and then they finally agreed to "try." Well surprise surprise with the white blanket the picture turned out just fine. Moral of the story, our government workers are losing money for their own agency because they don't want to do their job.

ONE STAR ONLY BECAUSE I HAD TO AT LEAST GIVE IT ONE - But really a ZERO STARI had an appointment to renew my kids passport at 2:30pm. I arrived at 2:15 and was told to come back at 2:30 since the woman was "on lunch". I returned at 2:30 and she was still "not there". The gentleman tells me she will return at "2:40, 2:50, I'm not sure". I questioned why would she take a lunch and not come back at 2:30 if there was an appointment scheduled?! No response. I wait in the lobby a few minutes to give some time. About 5 min later I go ask if she is back to which he says no. I then ask if he can call her or text her and let her know her appointment is here. He says no "she's at lunch". Now I am irritated since I am also on lunch and making my scheduled appointment! The woman comes out of the back office and says "I'm on lunch so you're going to have to wait" - something to that nature. I asked if there was a manager or someone else who can do it to which she replied "I am her, I am the her who can do it". OK so again, I had an appointment!! She then tells me if I have a problem with it than I can go ahead and book another appointment and walks away back into the office. I went to the lobby just completely irate and dumbfounded. I returned to the counter with my camera to record her and asked "you don't like to keep appointments???!" The gentleman at the front says it's not about appointment she is on lunch. She returns from the back office and again says she's on lunch. I asked for how much longer?? She says about 20 minutes. She then claims that didn't know she had an appointment. So I asked her "I booked it and it didn't go through to you?!?!" She replied NO, tells me I can continue to record her (as I did), and she walks away telling me to have a good day.UPDATE: (2 hours later) I continued to call to get the woman's name. 100 calls later, someone finally answers at 5:30PM. I kindly asked him the woman's name and he cautiously asks why and does not give it to me. He tells me he is the supervisor on duty so I tell him the background story and he tells me "of course when someone sees they are being recorded they are going to get mad". I said excuse me I did not record until I came back in AFTER she told me to go book another appointment and walked away from me. He then says "I just find it funny". I asked him, "what part of this story is funny?" He says "i just find it funny that people get crazed for having to wait". I then clarified for him that waiting was not the issue. The issue was the manner she came at me, along with WALKING AWAY after telling me to book another appointment! Had she kindly said, "I'm sorry, would you mind coming back at 3?" or something along those lines, NO PROBLEM. In trying to explain that to him, HE, THE SUPERVISER, HUNG UP ON ME!

Terrible service and rude staff members that don't want to work but expect a check. This place needs new staff ASAP. It's literally an uncomfortable experience.
