This is the only place I will bring my car from now on! Very detailed in the work and honest. They found something wrong with my engine that the other place I brought my car didn’t even find. Would definitely recommend

Hate to give a bad review because I’ve gone here in the past and enjoyed it but very disappointed. I took my car here for an alignment and during the alignment they told me the tie rods were worn out on the car, I said okay great, no problem do what you have to do. Got the car back, seemed okay(not great) when I first got it. Steering was a little sloppier than normal but whatever. As a couple weeks went by a noise started coming from my suspension. I jacked the car up and noticed the tie rod was super loose. I decided to take into the place I normally have work on my car and they almost immediately figured out the wrong tie rod had been put on the car. They replaced it, did an alignment, and replaced another issue I was having for less than half the price Salvatore automotive charged me.
Obviously at this point I wanted my money back from Salvatore because they hadn’t done the proper work (that they recommended) so I left them a voicemail and almost two weeks had gone by with no answer. Today I decided to show up there and explain what happened. The older guy John quickly shut me down and said it’s not possible for the wrong tie rod to be put in the car. Completely dismissing that him or anyone else could have possibly made a mistake. Said at best he’d be able to send the part out to their supplier and try to get a refund. wasn’t gonna sit there and argue with him so I said have a nice day and left.
Now I’m debating if this is worth pursuing legal action because it was over $800.(plus the $450 I had to pay the other place to do it correctly.) I have the incorrect part that they installed, the paperwork stating what they installed, and the other mechanic showing me how it’s the wrong part. Pretty cut and dry case if I really want to get a lawyer involved but I’d really just like my money back. I like these guys I especially think John Jr is a good guy but when mistakes are made you need to fix them; and this isn’t at all indicative of a place that wants my business again.

Great place, I'm very glad I was able to trust my car with them. I'm more than happy as they are very professional and reliable. Will definitely come back as I was very satisfied with the service.

Absolutely wonderful place to get the repairs I needed!. I got new tires and my battery replaced here. Customer service is amazing and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure the expert work they do. I’d give more starts if I could! . Definitely recommend this place to anyone needing repairs on their vehicles.

Very satisfied with service, everything was as promised, prompt service, and very reasonable pricing. Highly recommend, and will return for future requirements. Also liked the fact that there is a NAPA auto parts directly across the street, no waiting for delivery of parts.

Professional and fast service. I had originally asked for 2 new tires and an alignment. While working on my car John Jr. had contacted me to let me know that my other 2 tires only had about 10% life left in them. He was able to get 2 more tires in for me last minute and complete the job on the same day, within only a few hours. I am very happy with the service and I highly recommend this shop/gas station!Services: Wheel alignment

This review is long overdue. I had transmission issues which lead to a failed inspection. I called around to see who could take my car without knowing that I had to take it to a state certified repair shop. The first two places I called both recommended Salvatore. I was impressed from the first interaction (when calling to make an appointment), to when I picked up my car. Everyone was pleasant and professional, and they fixed the issue.
