I've ordered a few different welding lenses from them. The alloweld gold coated is definitely the best lense I've used in the last 10 years. Hands down worth the money. Compared to a optrel ******* 2.0 and there's no match, philips saftey and the gold alloweld lense is far superior. No flare. Everything is black except your Puddle is silver. So clear I can see my tig torch reflection behind the puddle. Makes it a perfect choice if you want to see exactly what your puddle is doing. I've ordered from philips saftey three times and never had a problem, even got a few welder ******* using there welding lenses. Definitely a great company and product in my opinion.

I ordered a pair of prescription safety glasses in December for my deployment. I first used the safety glasses in early February once I was on deployment. Upon FIRST use, the lenses popped out while gently applying the anti-fog. These glasses are supposed to be ANSI Z87.1 ballistic rated. Idk how glasses can have an ANSI Z87.1 safety rating if the lenses pop out while wiping them softy. When Phillips was notified of the defect, they refused an exchange. The best they offered was 50% off my next pair if I returned the broken pair. Not a reputable company as they don't stand by their work.

This is a “Good News / Bad News” review. I ordered new lenses for an older Wiley X frame I own on June 8, 2022. Progressive Bifocal (Distance + Reading), Polarized, Neutral Grey w/ Silver Mirror Coating. I received the glasses June 28, 2022. I immediately noticed that one lens was just plain wrong. Here’s the “Good News”.. It’s July 20 and I finally have glasses to my prescription. The price was great; I got the father’s day discount even though I ordered before the promotion began. Quality looks good at first inspection. Here’s the “Bad News”. Upon receipt of the glasses back on June 28 I immediately called Rx Safety Customer service. I tried in vain to explain the issue and was pushing to get them to start a remake immediately. I went up as high as they would allow in their CS chain and got no satisfaction to my demand. I did get them to send a prepaid shipping label for UPS ground for the return and had to wait for them to evaluate the obvious error. I called or chatted almost daily once the shipment hit their facility to no avail. I was “Customer Serviced” at every turn. Finally on July 12 or 13 The CS rep acknowledged that an error was made in imputing my prescription parameters and they lens was being remade. He had no answer to when it would ship though. Well, the glasses shipped on July 15 UPS 2nd day and I received them on July 19. The Phillips Safety lab did perform well once the error was recognized. As noted by other reviewers The Customer Service team’s responses are not good at all. I did challenge one of the reps and he acknowledged that the CS and apparently the sales team are located in the Philippines as a contracted service. They may be well meaning but apparently do not have a direct link to the production status of any one order. This forces them into canned responses with the natural disappointed reaction from the customer side. Phillips really needs to improve outgoing quality control and dramatically improve CS when production mistakes are made. When those mistakes are made, the customer needs to be transferred to a CS rep on site in New Jersey that takes control of the interface until the issue is resolved.Bottom Line: Product and price is good but if a mistake is made, you will be unhappy with the service.

Glasses came with small streaks, not sure what it is exactly, probably a scratch, same one on the other lens but smaller

I ordered prescription safety glassesApparently, I chose an option that was not compatible with the script I sent in. Instead of contacting me, They sent me glasses with no prescription. I called customer service, the snarky "genius" tried to convince me that it was all my fault. Worse yet, I sent these useless glasses back to get only a 50% refund. I would suggest, that no one order glasses from this company

Poorest quality glasses you can find. I truely regret buying glasses from this company. I should have read the reviews before buying. Disgusting. Ugh.

We've purchased (1) style of welding glasses for resell, we found that the lense cracked verically on some of the glasses, we went back to Phillips and they tell me that you order is not supported and we can't do anything because it was purchased 1 yard ago even though we bought to put in inventory. Their brand product is flawed and they as company choose not to support or be stand behind their product, as there are no several goggle comments that fall into the same type of pattern i would urge you stay away from any of their brand name products.

I don't know what all the negative fuss is about. In my personal experience they where excellent. Shipping and processing time were timely. Quality of my glasses is really good. Very easy to deal with and I will order from them again, no hesitation.

Incompetency has reached new levels! One calls to place an order, gets the sales department and is told you will be transferred to customer service to place the order. Sales people are entirely clueless and their manager unreachable! When the glasses finally arrived, not at all as described. Covid protection? do not fit against the face at all....terrible product, way overpriced! Returning the glasses is proving to be another headache!

They sent the first pair and after one night's use they broke. When I sent them in they returned them quickly. I got three night's use out of them this time and they broke again in similar fashion. When I emailed about returning them they sent an RMA. When I asked for a shipping label and said "surely I don't have to pay shipping for a warranty return". "yes sir you do" was the ONLY response. No salutation, no closing, no explaination, and no apology for troubling myself to do business with them. I assure you this is the last time I do business with them! Their products are junk and so is the customer service department.

horrible experience.. I had to return my glasses 3x that I paid almost $300 for, then they wouldn't respond, 9 weeks total and still waiting for them to return my money or fix the glasses, I will never buy from them again

We have purchased $2,000 worth of welding lenses from this company. All lenses but one turned out to be defective. Customer rep Annmarie acted obtuse, even after we had submitted plenty of evidence through e-mail, later she was being untruthful about the availability of the owner Ryan who refused sending an RMA to this day and eventually refused answering calls. I advise strongly against dealing with this company; there a plenty of other options out there - just make sure they are not associated with Phillips Safety Products, as it seems they are starting up several businesses to escape their bad reputation (seems like rx-safety.com is run by the same team).

Ordered Oakley and prescription safety glasses. Still waiting for any update regarding the Oakleys. Received the prescription safety glasses today. Fit and finish is lacking. The left side panel is scratched at a 45 degree angle all the way up and down. I'd like to be the one scratching up my glasses. I need no help in doing so. The prescription is accurate but the focal point for the bifocals is not at a good height for me. I will update this review once customer service addresses my concerns.5/6/21Was able to contact customer svc by telephone. Kai, was very helpful. He warrantied the frames and sent me new ones the next day. The Oakleys arrived a day after the frames. Thank you Kai for your professionalism. The safety glasses fog up while I am wearing the dreaded covid mask. Perhaps they won't as bad without the mask.

I was excited to buy some excellent goggles specifically designed for healthcare workers from a different company. I was so happy with the goggles and unfortunately sent them to RX Safety to have prescription lenses installed instead of the company the goggles manufacturer recommended. I sent my goggles to them and excitedly awaited their return. First concern: I never received an acknowledgment that they received the frames. Fortunately, I was able to see by my tracking number that they had. Second concern: I didn't hear anything at all from them for over three weeks despite sending two messages requesting an update on the order five days apart. Neither message was answered. The last straw was when I FINALLY received an email about my order, but it was to tell me that they broke the frame during placement of the lenses. They offered a 20% discount on new frames from them. Really? 20% is all you can offer? They did refund the price of the lenses. So, zero communication despite repeatedly trying to contact them, broken frames, and no customer service following that. Terrible, man. "
