I don't know if Catherine is a teacher or a parent but she tried to take a car ride with an infant straped to her chest, no car seat. If she is an employee I would not trust my children there with someone as irresponsible as her and if she is a parent this business needs to do their job as mandatory reporters and alert dyfus to the child endangerment she's subjecting that infant to

Great daycare. Very responsive to any and all concerns and I really have peace of mind and assurance knowing that my little girl is being well taken care of. I appreciate all of the hard work from the staff there!

Nice and clean daycare. The best part of it is that it doesn’t smell like dirty baby diapers and cheap floor cleaner.

I rate The Middlesex Baby Spa with 0 stars (although I was forced to award a minimum of 1 star), and would highly suggest you look elsewhere for child care facilities. The owner/director, Mr. Charles needs to learn how to operate a business, especially when that business involves the care of young children. There are two faces of Mr. Charles - 1 that the parents see, and another one that the children and staff see. To parents he seems to genuinely care about the children, perhaps even like them. However, when parents are not around the other face of Mr. Charles is the one that can be seen. He is not interested in helping the teachers when problems arise, he supplies NO supplies for the teachers (they have to purchase their own), he does not supply ample mandatory items (such as gloves for changing diapers, paper towels, etc) which is a requirement of the state. The classes are constantly over ratio - putting the children (as well as the staff) at risk for injury. Teachers are constantly expected to work over time without being paid for the extra time. He cares more about the impression the building has on new parents visiting the center than he does about the well being of the staff or the children. The children have absolutely 0 free time throughout the day, even when the children go outside to play.....the teachers have to have planned activities for them to do. This leaves the children unable to use their imagination and creativity which is how they learn. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE reconsider if you are thinking about bringing your children here. If your child(ren) are already attending The Middlesex Baby Spa, for the health, safety, and overall well being please find another center to transfer them to, you will be glad you did.

Our daughter has been going to the Baby Spa for a few months and I am extremely pleased with the quality of daycare we are receiving! I echo the sentiments of the previous poster regarding the director, Mr. Charles, along with all the great staff we have met so far. Our daughter was only three months old when we started her in daycare to allow us continue working. You can imagine how difficult it was leaving her with anyone you don't know well that young, especially for eight or more hours each day. Many months later, I can honestly say I we have not even once second guessed that we chose the absolute best place for our daughter. Each morning when I drop our her off her face actually lights up as if she is excited to be there! The caregivers are all invested in the children and make sure they receive individual attention while remaining extremely receptive to odd first time parent requests and questions (we have a lot). If you are looking for a very reasonably priced, well run and staffed daycare facility I highly recommend taking the time to consider Baby Spa.

I feel so blessed to have found such an amazing daycare center for my two children. I don't usually post reviews, but felt compelled to let people know about this place. This school is small and treats your child like family, not a $. The director, Mr. Charles, is wonderful, truly approachable & accommodating. The facility is well maintained, clean & has a happy energy. Very low turnover, which is rare in child care. The teachers work so hard and go above and beyond for your kids. They seemed to love what they do. My only challenge is the amount of holiday closings. However, it is well worth it. A+ rating from this mom!
