The young lady with the tacos and macaroni and cheese was delicious. The man with a variety of pickles, mine are delicious. They had all the veggies and breads from a variety of farmers and bakeries. They also had a booth with several varieties of mushrooms.

This is one of the best farmer's markets in the area. There is always good fresh produce. Aside from the produce, pickes and baked goods can be had there.Get there early because there are usually pretty long lines. There are nearby parking lots, and meter parking on the street. Be sure to pay for parking, they are always checking and giving tickets.

The Farmer's Market is located on New St and Pearl St, walking distance from the train station, and runs on Saturday's 9am - 2pm. It just started for the season 6/10/23.They have plenty of flowers, veggies, bread, etc. They have vendors from all over the place like Sourland Spirits, Zell's Farm (cool mushrooms - $10 for a mixed variety pack and $6 for all the same mushrooms!), pickles (good job handling them with gloves during setup as I saw them as I was walking by), and many others. Some of the food items like the bread from Stack's Pizza have questionable hygiene - I saw the bread resting in the back seat of a van with the bread leaning on the seats uncovered. While you can wash veggies no problem, you can't do the same with the bread.Hoboken Farms was there as well but I had a terrible experience with them. I was kind enough to wait for the 3 staff members to finish chitchatting after the customer ahead of me paid and left. I stood right in front of the bread and cashier for about a minute waiting for them to stop chatting. They completely ignored me up until 3 caucasian females at least 4 - 5 feet behind just got there, and the cashier litterally had to look past my shoulder and asked them, "Can I help you?" I said I was there 1st and waiting patiently. Not once did he apologize to me. I was going to buy more things and ask where they were in Hoboken since I never saw their place there in all the times I've been in Hoboken, but they left a bad taste and I just bought a few items instead.Produce Pete was there on 7/29/23 signing books! You won't find great deals in this Farmers Market. Prices are just average to expensive (think Whole Foods prices) but I think the draw is having all the vendors in one area in the outdoors. There are 3-hours free parking in the adjacent parking deck on Saturday, Market day. It gets very busy so if you don't mind walking, just park further away.

A nice farmers market from what I can see. I was early while the stalls were still setting up. But I did see lots of vegetable stands, pastries, bread, and flowers. My only complaint from what I've seen it that it's small and not many stalls.

It's small and expensive, but it's quaint to have in the area for the weekendStop by and see for yourself. Its fame and attraction is that faux "farm" stores, void of ceilings, in the street that begs us to see it.

Best farmers Market. The Bakery stuff is awesome, we go here for breakfast almost every weekend. The vegetables are fresh and top notch esp the herbs. Love the pickled olive stands when I frequent as well. Dont miss the Almond Crossaint and the Olive Pockets for a $

Fresh farm market, everything you need including eggs, cheese, sour pickles, meat, choice of farms, bread and so on. Highly recommend.

This farmers market is located in a open area near the parking garage in downtown Metuchen. It's definitely worth a stop if you're in the area. Parking is free at the adjacent parking garage. There is a nice mix of prepared food, produce from local farmers, and other vendors selling their wares. I also appreciate that their website was up-to-date and informative.

It's always a great experience at the Metuchen Farmers Market. I've been to many farmers markets in neighboring towns but Metchuen's the best one yet! There are consistent vendors that sell every week and some that are new who sell every other week or every two weeks. This keeps things exciting and you can look forward to seeing new foods. This past week I was lucky to try Kikitos Jibaritos, a Puerto Rican sandwich vendor, and it's a must try if you spot them at the market! Some vendors accept both cash and card payments and a few only take cash. I recommend bringing both! Also, bring your own bags! There were a few vendors that didn't offer bags. Another tip: bring water or something to drink. I believe there was only one or two vendors that sold drinks. Bathrooms are also available for vendors and not to the public. Parking is also very hard to find so come early! The market is from 9am to 2pm.

Not their fault that the format is different in the 2020 season because of the pandemic. But there are fewer vendors here than in previous years. But still, a good variety: Hoboken Farms, 2 cheese & meat vendors, & 3 vegetable stands.

Convenient location, easy access but wish more vendors can participate.

I loved their previous location near the Whole Foods in Metuchen. Currently they are nestled in the American Legions parking lot. While the produce is still vibrant and vendors still nice, the location lacks the personality it had before. In addition, there are far less vendors there than pre-pandemic. Overall, they get four stars because i got some beautiful items from there and they were still nice...
