Metuchen is a beautiful town and a great place to visit. Access to the Middlesex Greenway right next to Whole Foods makes it an ideal launch point to start a day of cardio

Great shopping district. Most places within reasonable walking distance. Rather extensive variety of shops and stores including banks, sub shops, appliance sales, gym, coffee shop, groceries and lots more. Only drawback is the amount of traffic in the town. Tractor trailers further complicate congestion. Parking is reasonable but will likely necessitate lots of walking. One interesting fact is that Beatles musician Paul McCartney has been seen out and about in the downtown area. His wife is originally from Metuchen, so this explains his interest.

A great place to shop and eat. This small town has quite a diverse number of restaurants, shops, hair and nail places. It has a Whole Foods and an accessible train station on the Northeast corridor. The train can take you all the way to Trenton and New York City.

Great place to live, nice downtown with lot of food options. Main Street is beautiful. Train station is right there. Green way walk path is also a great place for a leisure walk. Everything is in a walkable distance..

This Main Street has entered the competition for the title of "Best Main Street of America" and you will immediately realize why. The street fairs, celebrations and best ethnic restaurants makes you feel like you are on location of tiny town dramas like Gilmore Girls or Hart of Dixie!!!

Metuchen is just plain kickin' it! Lived there for 23 years, but moved not far away. Going back is bittersweet, but the past is the past...the present is now. Great place to live or visit. Check out the farm market on Saturdays, June-November.

Great place for almost anything anyone wants to do or buy. The grocery store "Whole Foods" is perhaps the feature store of the entire shopping center. Not only can one buy higher quality groceries, but one can also return their Amazon orders inside the store. What is also nice about the area is that there are other restaurants and service stores outside of the shopping center that is only a short walk away.

I like the variety of shops located in the district with a favorite being Whole Foods for such a nice big variety of unique groceries.
