Nothing but great experiences here at the Metuchen branch Chase. I've been going here for the last year and a half. Using both their ATM outside as well as the inside tellers. Always a hello, always being asked if I need help - always being acknowledged- I had the pleasure of working with Shikha. She had helped me twice opening accounts and banking options that I needed to address. At the end of the day, I can say I'm nothing less than satisfied.

The young gentleman with the glasses was polite, friendly, and helpful. He was great! The lady next to him was being nosy; she inquired what he was doing for me, scoffed, and she was rude. A man came in directly after me to close two Chase accounts with her and she froze. She's probably the root cause of all the negative reviews.

Staff is lazy no one wants to fulfill their client needs. I had an Appointment and did not enjoy my time with this branch. I love banking with chase but the staff here rushes their time with you If I could give no stars I would.

I would give ZERO stars if possible. Caroline Barrera is the least helpful associate. They say appointments are not required but you still get turned away with appointments and long wait times.

I visited Chase Branch at Metuchen, NJ today, to open my account.Excellent customer service provided by officer Shikha Kochhar. She is very responsive to all my requirements and patiently answered all my questions. She also helped me link my other accounts too, into my chase portal.It is people like Shikha who make all the difference, to make the banking experience memorable.

Had an appointment to open up an account today. My husband and I are masked because we are medically vulnerable. There was a plastic partition between the banker and ourselves. The banker did not respect our personal space. He was not masked. He wouldn't stay on his side of the partition. He kept coming into our personal spaces.I asked him twice if someone else could help us. He said that they were busy and just kept on doing what he was doing.If you see people wearing masks, you should understand that either they or someone that they are close to are medically vulnerable and give them some personal space. Nobody is wearing masks because it's a fun thing to do. We're wearing masks because it's medically necessary. Stay behind your partition and respect people's personal spaces!

Extremely slow service.Opened a small business account. Account locked on 1st transfer….Needing to jump through hoops to verify my own identity… while bank officials are polite, service is ludicrously slow…Not worth the time. Taking my business to Bank of America or TD bank. I have had better service with both banks in the past.

ATM doesn’t work most of the time, service is lame, the car lanes aren’t working either. Parking is the worst in town!

1st visit: tried to change my name and the teller didn’t know how and told me to come back another day because they were closing in 30 minutes because the other teller that knew how to do it was busy. Excuse me? If I’m there you have to take care of me even if you close because I came with enough time. Bad experience.2nd visit: tried to change my name part 2. The teller told me it was complete so I left. He then called my phone and told me to come back to the bank because he forgot to get me to sign something. I went back and signed. When I got home I got an email saying my new card was on its way only to find out that he spelled my name incorrectly! I had to call again and have them send me a new card all over again. Not to mention the teller assured me that i would still be able to use my debit because my card number wouldn’t change. He said they would send me a card with my new name but same number. The next day I tried to use my card and turns out that he actually cancelled my old debit so I was left without a debit card for 1 week. A disaster of a branch, don’t bother !
