I've been here a few times over the years, most recently a couple weeks ago. The technician I had was not bad but not as experienced maybe, she was just OK. I still went back today to get my nails updated and I had Mara this time. You guys; Mara is phenomenal. She removed what was previously done, which was time consuming but the right decision to avoid breakage in the future. She took her time and did everything with such care. They are perfect. Got acrylic tips, coffin shape, with a gel color with chrome powder. Do yourself a favor and go see Mara ? ? ? (the 5 start is strictly due to Mara)
Stylist: Mara

Usually pretty good the past 3-4 times I've been.. I think management changed, definitely the people changed. Not pleased at all with my past visit this week. Was very rushed for my pedicure, plus she just was not good at all.
I usually get gel polish, why get when she rushed pedicure. I did not want her to do anything else.
Did express at checkout. Won't be back. Too many other caring salons.

I was really hoping I wouldn't have to write this review, but the trauma from my nails being ruined is something I can't let happen to others. I've been going to this salon for the past year and it was always an amazing experience until this month. I've been getting my nails done for 17 years and I've never experienced any damage like this. Maly was the one who did the original manicure and acrylic refill, she was really kind and I enjoyed being in her chair, but the next day I developed blisters around my cuticles and they were burning. I soaked them in water and tried all the tricks I could find on the internet to calm my fingers down. About 5 days later I gave up and called the salon, told them I had gotten an infection, and they told me to go in that day. I went after work and the owner and receptionist both looked at my hands and said it must be an allergic reaction, which it kind of does when you look online. Then Cynthia (owner) took the nails off and she said she thinks maybe the tech I saw brought in her own equipment and that's how I got an infection. We had really good conversation and at the end of it I booked a future appointment for 1.5 weeks down the road with her and I tipped her $20 for the help. However, they did not offer me any refund and when I got in my car I noticed Cynthia did not take off all the base coat and primer around my cuticles. Even today my nails are inflamed and I'm developing more blisters, so I will be seeking medical attention. I have already warned family and friends to stay away from this salon, and I hope my review will help others be cautious about this place as well. My nails were beautiful, and my natural nails under the acrylics were strong and grew fast. Now they're nubs and barely grow. Absolutely unacceptable.

I went in for a gel refill on Sunday 2/11. Upon entering the salon there is a price sheet illuminated behind the check in counter. A gel refill is listed at $30+ with a small notation at the top pricing may vary depending on length, shape and design. I got a gel refill with one design on both ring fingers. At check out I was told that my total was $58.00. When asked about the breakdown the gentleman at the counter stated, “She said your nail is long. So it’s $45 and additional $5 for one broken nail and $5 for heart design. And of course, a surcharge for using a card.”
I wasn’t even going to leave a review because they actually came out decent. Just a little more than I thought they were worth but nonetheless they were okay. However, on Wednesday (3 days later ) the pinky nail broke and today both my middle finger and ring finger nails were lifting to the point they had to be removed. There pricing chart DOES not reflect the quality of services provided. I received better $35 refills. Not to mention they “forgot” the warm rag when my nails were completed. I was asked at the check out counter if I wanted, but declined as I was already half way out of the door.
I wouldn’t waste my time or money returning back to this salon. The service was below standard, the quality of products being used are subpar and the pricing chart is not clear and precise.
I have included photos below. (Price chart, finish set and nail length- that’s cost additional $15, and todays hot mess- missing 3 nails)

From the first I visited, to present I really enjoy it, the salon is always clean, the technicians are Great , Friendly , and attend to your request, I have visited other nails salon prior , and they would do your nails they way they wanted and then mention the hidden fees after service was completed , and I was nt satisfied with how my nails were done. At La Moda they attend to exactly to your request . I would recommended ????
