From start to finish Elizabeth Brouse (Manager of the center) was awesome! We (TCTBlessedDecorating) had the pleasure of decorating the top section for a wedding back in April 2024. This is a great place to have a function/ event. Elizabeth addressed all of my decorating team questions/ needs. My team and I definitely recommend !

This was the perfect venue for our daughters high school graduation party! Everyone in attendance couldn't get over how nice it was. The playground on the property was so helpful for the younger kids. It was spacious and for a summer event the air conditioner was great (and that matter to us alot!). Elizabeth was the woman in charge of setting up our rental and she was very helpful, always answered emails fast and was very friendly as well as patient with my million questions. I don't have a bad word to say about the place. Highly recommended.

We had an awesome time celebrating family at this facility. The manager was very professional and courteous. The facility is updated and clean. I would absolutedly use this venue again.

Site of Merchantville Class of '71' 50th +1 Reunion, and watched kids playing baseball at the Eddie Roecker Little League Field on site. This is still a family-oriented facility that brings back a lifetime of memories! Liz Brouse does a superb job of co-ordinating the event details.

My husband and I had our vow renewal here in October 2022 after having a disastrous rescheduling of our initial wedding in October 2020 (due to the pandemic and our caterer trying to run away with $8000 of payments). We got married in our backyard on our original date with very few family members present, so we were hesitant to commit to planning a big vow renewal (aka, wedding) with fear that the venue would close (as may had at the time) or we'd have a similar situation with vendors abruptly closing their business. We thought 'if we're going to do this, it's going to be somewhere that is a community staple'. So, we came across the Merchantville Community Center. It didn't seem as lavish as our original venue that we booked years prior, but it seemed 'homey'. However, when we arrived, our expectations were certainly exceeded. With warm lighting, exposed brick, wood floors, and a STUNNING patio that could fit nearly all of our guests, this place felt like a best kept secret.We knew we wanted to bring in some rentals to make it feel more like 'us', but the palette was certainly there. Working with Elizabeth, the community center manager, was icing on the cake. Elizabeth was INCREDIBLE. Better than some planners we had worked with in the past, and definitely better than most venue coordinators. Her response times were quick, she was kind and informative, and helped us stretch any and all limitations to bring our vision to life. Our event was a big undertaking with all the rentals we were bringing in and the size of our guest count, but she did everything she could to ensure success. I highly recommend using this hidden gem of a place if you're looking for somewhere that feels like home away from home for your event!
