There's candy, then there's Aunt Chatlotte's Candy. My perfect food is their Cashew Crabs, a half dollar sized dollop of chocolate then a quarter sized drop of caramel on top, then two cashews arranged like claws of a crab, then finally a drop of dark chocolate to 'cement' the claws to the piece of candy. These crabs are addictive and one can easily put away 3 just like that. Next would the dark chocolate crushed cashew or almond dusted toffee bark. I could live on that alone. Finally, the dark chocolate marshmallow high hats. I could eat those like.... like they were candy. Make no mistake, Aunt Charlotte's candy is not cheap. But I believe their candy, especially their dark chocolate is the finest available.

If you love history this is a nice visit for you and the kids. Right in the heart of downtown merchantville. This place has so much history and the candy is so fresh. Your kids can learn about the candy making process, sample candies, and most importantly they sell tons of stuffed animals. It's so welcoming and the staff is always pleasant. Truffles are the best ever, no matter which flavor.

Love Aunt Charlotte's! Quaint candy store with excellent handmade chocolates. They carry other popular candies and an assortment of lovely gift items too. Handmade chocolates (dark chocolate assortment and nut and caramel claws) are my favorites.
