Four times in the past 6 months I have had to get price adjustments on items at Murphy’s on Stokes Road - juice, produce, frozen ravioli, and Pepsi. The shelf will show a sale price, but that price is not in their system. The cashier acts like you are inconveniencing them when you ask for the correct price. They actually leave the register and go check which caused a long line at the register. It almost felt like shaming the customer for asking for their advertised price. I wish this was a one-off, but my concern since this has been a frequent occurrence is that it is intentional and unfairly targets the elderly who shop here.

Convenient for local shopping but don't expect any smiling people saying'Good Mornings' or 'my pleasures' from the employees or managers.

Inside the store is nice but why do people just abandon their vehicles at the front of store ? There's plenty of parking and clearly marked yet people just pull up, abandoning their vehicle at the front of store. What is that about ??? No other stores allow but I have seen this at Murphy's. I have traveled around America and shopped at lots of stores but this entitlement takes the cake. I worry about going in a Murphy's because the front is actually a fire lane so what if there is a fire ? I'll go to ShopRite or Acme instead.

Their produce is CONSISTENTLY terrible. Their avocados are never ripe. Tomatoes are terrible. Strawberries have mold. It's such a shame because the Murphy's in Tabernacle is great but this one is just horrible. The people who work there are ok- either old and slow or young and inexperienced. Which is fine. It's clean/ish. Honestly the produce is just absolutely terrible. I cannot stress it enough. Go somewhere else.

I’m so happy that our Murphy’s on Stokes has made the effort to upgrade the products they sell and it seems to be getting better all the time …If you shop the sales you will find some good deals …The convenience of having a grocery store right down the street is the Best thing about our Murphy’s ..

Three recent times we’ve been there, we’ve come home with smelly meat (ground turkey and ground beef). Twice, we opened cans of beans that smelled … off. We also found expired items on shelves.Bakery items are great, it’s fairly priced, but the smelly/expired food on the shelves is unacceptable. We’ll still go there because the staff is super friendly and it’s beautifully laid out, but we will be wary about certain items.

Murphy’s on Stokes Rd is clean and organized. Prices can be pretty steep but the store itself deserves 4 stars. A star is deducted because people that shop there can’t be bothered to park in an actual parking space; they park illegally in the fire zone while they shop, making it harder for other cars to maneuver around the entrance. For some stupid reason the store allows this and the police look the other way. It’s been going on for years and it’s a thing. I don’t know why this irks me so much but it does. Lazy? Privileged? Inconsiderate? Illegal? Yes, all of the above. Even when the lot is empty and the front spaces are open, shoppers can’t be bothered to walk the extra 10 feet. It’s annoying enough for me to avoid shopping there outside of an onion or garlic emergency.

Best Italian hoagie in my life... a supermarket hoagie, yes. The roll, the meats (sorry), cheese, and fresh ingredients.

Local business, caring, clean, personable. Easy to find items and helpful staff. A pleasure to support a local business. They also support the community in various different events through the year!!
