“My mother needed medication delivered today. When I called the pharmacist (late this afternoon) the driver had just left, however, I was told if he could not get it there this afternoon he would drop it to her himself on his way home. The pharmacist was unable to drop the medication off because he couldn't close the store but called the business across the street, "Uncle Paulie's Peruvian Chicken" . They delivered the medication to my mother! When my mother questioned who he was, he told her and simply said "Hey, we all help each other out, Right?" My mother is geographically located close to both businesses, but I am just so overwhelmed by the kindness, compassion and the very heart of these two small businesses. Both of these businesses went above and beyond to help a stranger. I am so truly touched by this gesture. I just want to thank you for helping and serving the community. Your generosity is remarkable. Thank you to both Maywood Pharmacy and Uncle Paulie's Chicken! You are a class act!”

My medications are filled immediately for my children and I, and he offers delivery service, which is convenient. Bluejay pharmacy moved into the location I was very happy to see that some of the staff continued working with the new owner / pharmacist. The Owner, as well as the other pharmacists, & staff that work at this location are very knowledgeable and very caring. Linda was with the other pharmacy & I am happy she is still there. She is a caring & loving person & I always look foward to seeing her!!! They take the time to talk with you and discuss anything that you need. If they are super busy, they will even call you, if you can't wait! They go above and beyond and will even contact your doctor's office if a prescription has not been sent over. I would definitely recommend this family owned and operated pharmacy. I am very pleased with their Customer service, friendly, mom & pop feel! They are top notch. Also, they will call me to let me know that my medication is ready. In the event I don't show up, they will have the medication delivered (which I like a lot) to my house free of charge.You can check your blood pressure for free in there. If you need to make a copy of a document, it's only 10 cents per page. Prices of vitamins, deodorants, cleaning supplies, etc are all very reasonable.Therefore, I highly, highly recommend Lacross Drugs Pharmacy to all the people of the South Bronx. They will even instruct you on how to take your medication, foods to avoid when you are on certain medications, etc., etc.Please, ask for Angie, Raquel, Stephanie or Anna. These people care, they will listen to your concern, and they are very compassionate. I have never seen them lose their temper over the past four years that I have been patronizing this pharmacy. Most likely they will remember your first name once you start going there often.”

“small well-run neighborhood pharmacy for Lincoln Square, Hell’s Kitchen, etc. areas. headed here for a vaccination—they do a bunch of them…go to their site or call them for which ones. sadly, no Super Soldier serum is served here but getting my shot was supereasy and the process is straightforward. i was in and out in less than 15 minutes. the interior is clean and packed with a variety of over-the-counter items. the staff is friendly and organized—observed them helping other customers in a friendly manner. would definitely come back here if i had any other vaccine needs and they do notarization too by appointment, i believe.”
