Had a wonderful overall experience at the Mays Landing, NJ location of BJ's Optical Department. Ron Nicholas was the optician I worked with on a large order to replace the lenses in 5 pairs of glasses. I had just gotten a new prescription so wanted to take care of this as soon as possible.
Not only did Ron take the time to explain everything & answer all of my questions, he also was very warm, friendly & professional.
I felt as if he truly cared about me as a customer & was very appreciative as getting exceptional customer service these days is a rare thing!
I was told my order would be ready in 2 weeks but was pleasantly surprised to get a call from Ron after only 1 week had passed saying all 5 of my new glasses with their new lenses were ready for pick-up!
When I came in to get the glasses, once again Ron took the time to check that everything with each pair of glasses was correct & that each pair of glasses fit correctly & that I could see clearly out of each one as expected.
My overall experience with Ron was truly something that I will remember for a long time. It has been rare to find an employee that actually takes the time to give such excellent customer service and has the patience & professionalism that Ron exhibited!

This is the third time I have gone to BJs for new glasses. The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Excellent selection of frames as well.

The "other place" had a full month wait for an appointment. I got an appointment at BJ's optical for the next day.
I honestly wasn't expecting the personable attention and wide selection of frames.
The virtual exam was a little weird, but I received the same level of care I've gotten with in person visit.

The time and thorough combination of local professionals with remote optometrist and opthalmologist from Texas was an A+ example of how telemedicine should work.I left BJs w knowledge and complete satisfaction about my vision and eye health.Plus their selection of frames was so extensive I found a pair of glasses that were fashionable and priced within my budget.Job well done! Highly recommend.
