Wanted to share that Brian and his team at Shoprite Pharmacy of
Aberdeen, NJ go above and beyond to all customer needs. Their prices are better than the preferred pharmacy's as recommended by Medicare. He has guided me and my family to proper medication for over 40 years. Thank you being there for me and
all your valued customers. All the best. Five stars ******* Bob, Aberdeen, NJ

I found this pharmacy to have the best prices around for most drugs. Well, this wasn't the preferred pharmacy for my drug plan. The prices were better here than the other pharmacy.

went into the aberdeen shoprite last tues to pickup 4 lobsters. i saw only 2 in the tank. was told they had more in back. i said, oh, i didn't know you had a tank in the back. was told they did not. i inquired about how they were stored in the back. was told they were in boxes. came in two days ago. obviously they were now dead but shoprite was happy to sell them to me. made the mistake of coming back on friday and bought 10 oysters. opened them up an hour later. they were all dead and smelled like a cesspool. what is it about this shoprite that no one ever gets fired . if anyone got sick from seafood sold here, you should sue the hell out of this company. family that owns it never makes changes here and they have the gall to think everything is going just swell here. produce dept here is also garbage. english muffins go on sale and are sold out in hours and then never restocked all week. this has happened three times recently. now i go to costco and buy 3 times the english muffins for the same price as shoprite. not kidding. they freeze great and thaw out great. shop rite fish dept should be shut down. it is becoming dangerous to the public. they have been warned about this before but keep operating in an unsafe manner. gross negligence? when lobsters come in they should be cleaned and put in the tanks to be kept alive. this store shold never be allowed to sell oysters. are you kidding me?

I refuse to use the self checkout. I don't work for Shop Rite. The had only 3 cashiers working today . There was no 12 items or less register open. There were several people just milling around doing nothing. Why couldn't they have worked a register? I had 4 items. I called the store manager from my cell while I was waiting on line. He gave me the usual corporate baloney. He wanted me to tell him the names of the people not working. It's typical of a corporation to blame thier employees for any problems. I told him I'm not a snitch. I also told him that there are signs all over the place stating that they are hiring. I used to love ShopRite . I have been shopping at Shop Rites since 1972. It's sad to see it become a corporate cog in the corporate wheel.

Good people. To expect anything other than courteous service and accurate filling of prescriptions is being really dumb. These people provide that.

The Aberdeen, NJ store should be cited by the health department. Was there a couple days ago, and the vegetable and produce aisles were disgusting. There were rotting, odorous vegetables on the shelf. I reported it to the store manager, who seemed to be aware since he noted that they are short staffed....seriously?? If you can't get someone to stock fresh product, then at least get rid of the rotting stuff!

I love this store everyone always is happy ( well everyone but front end and a manager or 2) but besides that a great experience shopping there I enjoy talking to the employees and the aisles always look great, and the carts are always very clear out of the parking lots but i do have to get rid of one star because the employees there just seem so overworked it's kinda depressing and kills the vibe of the store

They were not great as an employer to a friend that worked there. ...but as a supermarket it's an ok place(Wegmans wipes the floor with them). Did they get rid of the hand carry baskets right when the single use bag ban took effect though? Last several times I went there, there were no baskets but each time was a weekend around noon, so I mega crowded. I didn't see any at the usual drop off spots though. Not sure why they'd get rid of them because some of us are going in to grab a few things quickly and don't need a cart.

Well, today was the last straw. I have been so consistently disappointed with the employees at this pharmacy that I refuse to go back. I have already had my prescriptions changed over to a different pharmacy. The medications I purchase on a monthly basis are on the expensive side, but with my GoodRx card, I get about 60-80% off. Each time I presented my GoodRx coupon code, the pharmacist seems aggravated. I am happy to wait the extra twenty minutes it takes to adjust the price of my medication because of how much it saves me. Today, the pharmacist looked at my RX card and said..."We don't do that anymore. It causes too much of a mess!" This is fine, but please post it somewhere where all can see. Oddly enough, every other pharmacy I have ever been to has been MORE then happy to accept my card and even share in the excitement of how much savings I received. That's good customer service. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for this pharmacy. Don't get me wrong...I love this Shoprite for all other purchases.

I really do think that the people working there just don’t want to be there so they don’t care to help any customers whatsoever. I cannot believe this just happened… I’ve had a prescription to be filled there for weeks. I called today to see how much it was going to be and the first response I got over the phone was “it’s probably too expensive”. I said that’s fine because I was aware that it’s not a covered medication. When I asked the person on the phone how much it was going to be before I came and picked it up she left me waiting for about five minutes and then came back on the phone and said that the prescription was no longer available because it was discontinued. She didn’t sound too convincing over the phone so I called a previous pharmacy and asked them if they could fill my prescription and send it to me and they were happy to do so. This took two minutes over the phone. So is this what’s really happening? They’re lying about prescriptions that people NEED being discontinued because they don’t wanna fill it for some reason? This is totally absurd… Really can’t believe that happened

When you buy 3 filet tenderloins they use pieces for the 3rd filet and hide it under the label! This happens to me almost every time! They're good at wrapping it tight with the shrink wrap to hold it together, beware!!!
