Multiple changes in the past few years have not been good ones. While the front desk staff is wonderful, the quality of care has greatly declined. After nearly 30 years, I have changed veterinary hospitals.

I'm very disappointed with Berg . I've had my pets there for over 10 years. 2 times I had an emergency. But, my dog couldn't be seen. They said they were too busy. They didn't care at all. Every time I bring my dog we are seen by a different vet. Very unhappy w them. I'm also going else where. Sad because they are so close to where I live.

I was recommended Berg, but it was for a vet who is no longer there. It's now Dr. Quinlan, and I decided to take a chance. The woman who spoke to me on the phone was friendly and helpful. The entire support staff was nice, and they have a great male technician there. That's where the positives stop. To sum it up, the place is dirty, we were there over an hour, our appointment was rushed, they tried to get us to spend more money on things not needed, basics were overpriced, and the negatives go on and on. Please do yourself and your pet a favor and take them to another vet. We have since found a really good one not too far away and are super happy with them. There are good ones out there....keep looking!

Dr Quinlan is amazing. It is onvious she loves animals and handles them with patience, and gentlenes. My recently rescued Akita is scared of strangers but quickly warmed up to Dr. Quinlan. The office staff is equally as warm and the overall experience was great. If you are tired of being treated badly by your current Vet I highly recommend Berg Animal Hospital.

Many years ago our regular vet, Dr Montekio, moved to Berg Animal Hospital and we moved with her. We're so glad we did. The office staff are always very helpful and the vet techs are great . Above all we continue to be thrilled with the quality of care Dr.Montekio has always given our shepherds over the years. She is very understanding and compassionate, as is one of the other doctors I've met. We highly recommend both her and the practice.

Horrible flexibility. We called ahead of our appt time to say we would be running 5-10 min late because we were having trouble getting our cat in the carrier. They were very rude and cancelled our appointment. Courtesy clearly means nothing to this vet.

Best vet you can visit. Dr. Sack is always warm, informative, and does a great job at caring for our pets. Any issues we've had, the team has helped solve and resolve. Dr. Sack also goes into depth about the issues to help you fully understand, which I really appreciate, and even offers little facts about breeds and pets in general that show she has a deep interest. Her bedside manner during visits (and during the horrible moment of putting a pet to sleep) is always kind and helpful and you can tell she truly cares about animals. All the staff here are incredible but Lisa at the front desk especially. She's helpful, kind, and personable. Whenever we've needed an urgent visit, had a true emergency, or had questions about prescriptions or anything else, Lisa has been a great resource. It's also so nice to hear everyone who works here talking to their resident pets and treating your own pets as you would. So grateful for Berg! Thank you!

The doctors and staff at Berg are top notch
A mix of professionalism, knowledge and compassion. They’ve have always been accommodating and attentive to our pups needs. As a new puppy owner they’ve have been so wonderful with all my questions and problems. Milo is always so excited to see them all!! Would highly recommend

Ive been coming here for years and every time I give them another chance, I become more and more disappointed. First time in 2020/2021 my dog got heartworm and they said they would have her overnight and when I came to the appointment, they told me theres no overnight. It was very unorganized for this stressful time for both of us.
Next appointment, I came back and the vet room was a mess with dirt or something over the table. They took bloodwork which when I took off the bandage, it looked very bloody and sore. And the vaccine left a big bump on her arm for days.
This time, I just wanted a nail trim and ear cleaning which they said would be quick. I got here on time and waited 30 minutes when someone came late and was taken right away. I said something and the vet tech came out and said I cannot come with my dog… my dog gets done and she is still shaking her head a lot, so i went home and used a cotton swab to just get the outside of her ear to see whats up and it came out dirty like it was not clean at all (pictures below) it just seems like these people are just money hungry and don’t want to actually help the animals/do the services they are paid to do which for an ear “cleaning” was $50 alone…
The only pro is that this place is down the road, but many people tell me to switch vets

Our cavapoo, Gatsby, had his neuter surgery yesterday and the experience could not have gone better. As new doggy parents, we were nervous but this clinic helped ease our concerns every step of the way. What really helps is having a front desk staff like Lisa to greet you with a huge smile as soon as you walk in, to doctors like Dr. Quinlan who took the time to answer every question my husband and I had, to the manager Nick who was able to help us with medicine directions. Was the price more than some other places, yes. But the care and time this clinic takes with the patient and the pet parents is beyond a price tag. Coming from another vet down 516 that didn't treat their patients with care or respect and would rather make money, this is a place I will recommend to ANYONE who needs care for their pet.
