I have shopped at the Cottage at least a dozen times since I found out about the place, and now it's a regular on my collecting circuit. I'm always finding fantastic things there, from dolls I need to complete my collection, to outfits I've never seen in person, and many pieces of furniture and accessories I never would have gotten if I hadn't found them here for such a great price.I can't possibly say enough about the shop or it's owner, who is about the nicest guy I've ever met and he's so incredibly helpful and kind. You'll never find a better place to ship if you're looking for American girl stuff for either yourself (if you're an adult collector like me!), or for a child in your life. It's well worth the trip, as they regularly get in new items and he does a fabric job of making sure everything is in good shape before it goes up for sale, and he's very honest when an item has some flaws, which is truly refreshing from a collectors point of view. He's helped me complete outfits that I have that we're missing one piece, and I now have four dolls including a beautiful new in the box Molly that has it's original 1990's paperwork still in the box!Absolutely make it a point to get here when you can! You will not regret it!

The owner Charlie really shows his talent with these outstanding dolls that he builds. I’m not sure what he enjoys more building these beautiful dolls or seeing the smile on a little kids face knowing that he made her day. Charlie has maintained a successful family business for many years and hopefully many more years to come. Customer Service exceeds expectations. Totally sets the bar for how Customer Service should be done everywhere. Keep up the great work Charlie making those kids happy with your incredible products.
