I came to Strive 5 weeks ago after I broke my leg. Matt has been my trainer, and he is amazing. He helped me physically and mentally get back on track. I still need a few more weeks, but I highly recommend Strive. They are the best!

I specifically want to review this physical therapy center with the focus being my experience working with Valerie (my physical therapist) in relation to my medical condition, EDS. But I will say that walking into the Marlton branch, I found the atmosphere to be light, friendly, and welcoming, and the secretaries to be down to earth. To start with, I had come from a traumatic experience with a different physician and begged to at least be referred to a PT. At first, Valerie did not know that I suffered from Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, as well as several other rare diseases, and yet by what can only be described as an act of God, I was paired up with the one employee who has EDS!We were both floored when we found out. If you are reading this, and you have a chronic illness, you can appreciate what a blessing it is to have a medical professional who personally understands what you are going through! Rather than shutting me down the moment I tried to share my own unique experiences and needs, she ASKED ME if I wanted to spend our first visit discussing my chronic illnesses and how a personalized plan could specifically help me.She is one of the ONLY doctors who has been willing to listen and not just talk at me or plow ahead with treatment. It honestly made me want to cry… It was that powerful of an experience. Her willingness to share from her own health journey and her personal research opened my eyes to a number of things I hadn’t considered. That kind of knowledge is priceless. One thing that really impressed me, was her ability to willingly admit when she didn’t fully understand a topic, or know the answer to a question I had. Crucially, she always framed this admission with an eagerness to reach out to others in the medical community who may better understand or have answers that she didn't. In my experience, this is going the extra mile. It’s the difference between wishing a patient with a complicated case well, and actually moving toward getting them the help that they need.In a few words, Valerie is knowledgeable, compassionate, and driven. For anyone who is a “tough case,” especially anyone with EDS, I can’t recommend Valerie enough. She is a GEM!!!

I've played sports all my life, but suffered a groin injury, and was unable to play sports for over 3 years. My confidence was low in being able to be active again without pain when first starting PT. Matt helped me get back to being able to play again and workout without limitations! Every session was personable, the staff are very friendly, and they genuinely want to help you! It was honestly a fun environment to be in, and there are some pretty inspiring people putting in the work to get better every day. I highly recommend!

My daughter has Ehlers Danlos Syndrome and before meeting Valerie we felt lost with no direction on how to help her. Hospital visits and numerous doctors later and no one could figure out why her pain was so debilitating. She experiences painful dystonia in her hand randomly and after many doctors , no one knew why. Within just a few visits Valerie not only figured out what was causing her dystonia but pointed us in the right direction to get my daughter the care she needs. Val has been an absolute saving grace for our family. We are finally gathering the pieces to this puzzle of EDS and we are forever grateful to have found her. She has changed our lives!

In my experience, Val is incredible for those struggling with hEDS! She's super kind and is willing to adjust when your body dislikes/likes exercises. 100% recommend her to anyone seeking physical therapy!

I am so far impressed by Strive Marlton - Valerie in particular. She has been making me feel as though my consent/autonomy matters in my treatment decisions, and is helping me to focus on the areas of pain/dysfunction that I have. She is already making a difference in helping me to feel as though I can improve my mobility, strength and pain.As a patient with Ehlers Danlos Syndrome and Postural Orthostatic Syndrome, this makes all the difference to me, as i'm very used to having limited if any options, and having to hesitantly go along with what I am offered. If you're looking to mange your hEDS, and /or POTS, I cannot recommend Strive Marlton enough.
