Very happy with our experience! Husband wanted a sycamore tree for our property, and a second tree of my choosing for another spot on the property. Neighbors suggested trying Axtens, and I went down during the day with my son. First, the gentleman that helped me was extremely patient, as my son was a little rambunctious, but he was able to work around that while still assisting. Secondly, the knowledge he had on the trees I was searching for, was incredible! We settled on a London Plane hybrid and he suggested a Serviceberry/Shadblow for the second tree, to fit our desire of trying to stay native. Great suggestion! Both trees look amazing and the delivery process was quick and easy. Thank you!

I came across this place by serendipity after having searched 2 other places. I'm glad that I made the stop. Prices were much better than other places in the area and the service was great. The 2 gentlemen were courteous, helpful and answered all of my questions. Glad I found the tree I was looking for. It looks great!

My husband and I recently decided to re-do some of our gardens. I had always wanted a dwarf weeping red lace leaf Maple tree and have grown to love weeping redbud trees. We went to Axten's to see what they had in stock. I felt like I was in a forest of gorgeous trees and shrubs! What a magnificent selection! We found a stunning Inabe Shibare red lace leaf Maple and a Golden Falls Weeping Redbud. We bought some other shrubs as well. We dealt with Matt and he was extremely knowledgeable.I had also been wanting a Purple Magic Crape Myrtle which was not yet available. I called Axten's a couple of weeks after we purchased our other trees and they had the Purple Magic Crape Myrtle that I had been desiring. Their prices are very fair and the quality is unsurpassed! Our garden now looks spectacular!

They have done great work for me. They’ve installed a paver driveway, fixed a drainage problem in my yard, and redid my garden. They have a large nursery with great plant selection. They know their stuff and can make recommendations. I have a lot of deer in my neighborhood. They helped me select the right plants. They help make sure your project gets done right, so it lasts.

This place deserves 10 stars!!! I can not convey in words how thoughtful, caring and knowledgeable the folks at Axtens's are. I was fortunate to get Dan on the phone when I called (I live a good 2+ hours away). I wanted to find a nice Crepe Myrtle tree that blossoms a beautiful purple color. I wanted to give it to my sister as a memorial tree for her daughter who recently passed away (purple was her daughters favorite color). Dan not only was caring and very informative in his guidance to find the right tree, he picked one out for me when he spotted one in their yard, held onto it until I called back. When I called back (very happy that he found the perfect tree for our project) I told him when I'd be coming down to visit my sister. Since there was a chance that I'd miss him due to holiday hours, he offered to drop the tree off at my sisters for me so it would be waiting for me when I got there.I cannot tell you how refreshing it is to work with a company/service that is not only helpful with their professional advice on what product to pick, but truly kind hearted, good people!!! I plan to come down to Axten's in the early fall to get a few trees for my own yard and hope to meet Dan in person. Here is a pic of the newly planted tree, thank you again Dan and family for making this memorial project a success.
