Usps tried to deliver a package I needed to sign for in the middle of the day when people with real jobs are working. When I came to collect they insisted the freehold office had it, but hasn't answering their phone. When I drove over there Freehold blamed marlboro. Now I'm out a grand in photography equipment that isn't made regularly. I wish the company had used ups like I asked them to. You know, a real company who doesn't lose half your mail.

I asked if I could buy a label to send someone so they can send me something through the mail, sort of like what shein does. The lady said they don’t do that, which is fine, except she laughed at me and explained it to me like I was stupid. I was asked by law enforcement to purchase the label so I assumed it wasn’t a crazy ask. Terrible customer service. Blonde lady with big glasses. Maybe in her late 60s.

I prefer this Post Office to others. They seem to have a lot of complaints about rudeness but I’ve NEVER experienced that. There’s a Santander Bank right there & some other stores. Sometimes Google Maps Street View still shows a Gas Station where there’s now a Chase Bank in place where there was a Gas Station Separated by the parking lot across the street from 6/12 Store.

All the staff are very rude. I prepared a prepaid package to send from my address, freehold, but a men would not accept it next time because origin address is not Marlborough.

Many reviews have pointed out that this location has a "rude lady". If you haven't experience her, try it out. She is tan, wears a hijab, and has a medium large built. Her name tag says "Salem". I've seen her argue with customers several times before, but today was the first time we debated that ended up with her refusal of my mail. She asked me to fill out a priority mail envelope, and I stepped aside to do so. After I finished, I waited until she was done with the customer, and then attempted to hand it to her. She told me then that I have to go to the back of the line. Now, I understand that I have to be ready when it was my turn; however, she could've asked me to get back to the line when handing me the priority mail envelope, but instead, she let me stand there for 5 minutes, and during that time, more customers joined the line. The other customers witnessed this and allowed me to cut in front of them, but as I couldn't tolerate this type of unprofessional behavior, I tried to reason with her. Lastly, when I took out my phone, she accused me of taking a picture of her and refused my mail. The reason I gave this post office a two-star is because the older gentleman have been very nice to me. He gives candies to kids and is very professional.

The lady who had helped me ship AND box my shoes was extremely helpful and kind. She understood that this was our first time shipping something and saw that we didn’t have tape so she provided it for us and helped box the shoes. Extremely helpful and kind lady. Would definitely recommend her to anyone else who visits the USPS in Marlboro! :)

I have been using this particular Post Office since moving to Marlboro in late 2020. It seems to be the piece of an old United Stated where people were nice and courteous to each other. I couldn't believe the place like this still in existence. This location is an homage to the Good O'l Days of the United States

Very rarely when I leave a review online but I would like to comment on an exceptional experience I had with Marlboro Post Office this morning. The only person on premises came over and helped me out with sending a package. He gave me a number of options on how I can send the package cheaper. When he realized that the package is going to Australia he'd made some other adjustments and suggestions. I've never had such an experience with ANY post offices.I also decided to buy some stamps; probably first time in a long time as I remember stamps used to be 39 cents and they are 55 cents now.

I never had an issue with this post office until recently. I'm not sure if she is a new employee or not but her name is Salem. She is a miserable unprofessional person! Never in my life have I gotten such an attitude and blatant disrespect when I tried to pick up my package! She should be fired ASAP! Looking at the other reviews seems to be that I'm not the only one thinking this! I will be calling management to file a complaint. I don't ever want to step into this post office again. Not only did she belittle me she seemed super angry towards me like I was an idiot! She's obviously racist it shows!

I wish I could give 0 stars. I’ve lived in Marlboro for 5 years and I rather drive to freehold then go to this place. The staff is extremely rude, especially the woman who works there. The post master actually tried to steal my packages. Amazon screwed up my address by mixing my P.O. Box with my home address but after running around between two post offices 5 times, the manager at the freehold post office found my packages in the computer. She said that the Marlboro post office had signed for them and that they were most definitely there. She even called over there for me and she told me that the woman on the phone was so rude and was actually arguing with her about the packages not being there. Come to find out, they were locked in the post masters office. Yea! They were actually trying to keep the packages for themselves since the address didn’t exist. They figured that amazon would just replace or refund my money. Finally when I went to pick them up after hours of going back and fourth between post offices, the woman was sooooo nasty. She knew what I was there for but she made me stand in the long line anyway with my infant and toddler (even after I had already been there several times that day and dealt with her). She knew I was there to pick up the packages but she took everyone else first when all she had to do was hand me the packages. Then once I got up there, she had the nerve to ask me what I needed. I said, “mam, you know that I am here to pick up my packages that you sent me around the world and back to get when they were here all along”. She then argued until she was red in the face (literally red), about how it was amazons fault and not theirs. Which she was right, amazon messed up the address, BUT THEY tried to steal the packages and instead of trying to help me find them, they sent me away and figured I wouldn’t investigate where they went. I couldn’t believe I had to do all that running around with two babies. And absolutely the worse customer service I have ever encountered ANYWHERE, period! If you can help it, go somewhere else. Don’t ruin your day. I can’t believe this place hasn’t been shut down or new staff hasn’t been hired. It’s really insanity in there. #saveyourself lol
