Plus their suggestions helped me so much.Clean and I never have to wait in a long line. “I can’t say enough wonderful things about this post office. First of all, they are always so kind and helpful anytime I come in and need assistance. Second, I am still sitting here in disbelief how above and beyond Kim went to get a hold of my package. I ordered something for my daughter for her graduation and unfortunately when I got the notification the package was delivered I could not find it anywhere. It wasn’t our regular mail person and these things happen. I drove over to the post office 30 minutes before closing on a Friday, and Kim couldn’t have been more helpful. Not only did she locate my package but she went and picked it up herself where it was accidentally delivered and then hand delivered it to me at my home. This is just above and beyond what anyone would ever do these days and I’m just so thankful to live in this town with such amazing, kind hearted postal workers. I know if I lived anywhere else my daughter wouldn’t have had her graduation gift on time. Kim, you are amazing and I can’t thank you enough for what you did! We love our Colts Neck Post Office! ❤️”
“Stop by frequently. Post office is sometimes like the DMV, you do it because you have to, not because you like to! The staff is a blend, some very nice not others - but again, what are you here for? Get your stuff done and move on.”

“This is the BEST post office I have ever been to. Specifically because the women are so kind, helpful and pleasant! It is clean, well stocked and always a breeze to deal with. I went in this week during Xmas and they were wearing Christmas headbands and necklaces. How cute!! And merry!! Once I brought my dog and baby there. I leashed my dog up to the wheelchair ramp and the women there kept eyes on him to make sure he was safe. You can make this up! Hands down the best post office because of the women that work there. It’s also just a very cute and quaint post office like out of a movie.”
“Wowza, this has to be the smallest Post Office that I've ever been in. Just about 40 -50 PO boxes as you first enter this place. Plus you're standard boxes and envelopes for your mailing needs.Only one window and a single postal employee behind the PO boxes. If you're can't find what you're looking for just ask her. Located in a very small strip mall on Ernston Road in Parlin behind the stairs on your left side. The only time that it seems to be busy during the week is right after she reopens after lunch. Friendly enough service which isn't always the case at the larger post offices.”
“Personally have always had a good experience here. Usually don’t wait longer then 20 mins (and it’s been very rare that I wait that long) and both attendants are very polite. They actively go out of their way to suggest the best way to ship something and help you out. Also, they always got bops playing in the background.”
“I am been doing business at this South River Post Office for over 18 yrs. I have read many negative reviews and just cannot understand why? All of my experiences have been top notch! The manager has always been very professional and knowledgeable. The employees are always patient, and take great care with listening as well as informing. I feel it is a great shame that customers just rather get angry and vent instead of communicating in a positive voice. Again, I give this Post Office five stars !”
“Tanya was so knowledgeable and made the passport process way less daunting than I thought it would be. I was in and out in maybe 20 minutes, and that’s only because I needed a photo taken and I had to wait a few while she helped other customers.As long as you have all the right paperwork and supporting documents, the entire process is seamless.”
“I love this post office. Tge people here know what they're doing and are so helpful. I tend to go at 9:30am and it's never been busy at that time. I had I ternational mail to send and they helped me figure out the customs forms. I'm so thankful for their help. I've had my mail held while I was away and everything was delivered properly once I returned home. FYI Informed delivery let's you know what mail to expect and report missing mail.”

“Overall a great experience! Just dropped off over 130 wedding invitation and John hand stamped them for me while I was there. He was kind and patient and I greatly appreciated his help! Furthermore when I came to ask what type of stamps I needed for my wedding invitation based on the wait they were very knowledgeable about which ones compared to other post offices I went to before.”

“I prefer this Post Office to others. They seem to have a lot of complaints about rudeness but I’ve NEVER experienced that. There’s a Santander Bank right there & some other stores. Sometimes Google Maps Street View still shows a Gas Station where there’s now a Chase Bank in place where there was a Gas Station Separated by the parking lot across the street from 6/12 Store.”
