Service was terrible. This one guy that works there is super rude does not provide much help at all. He had an attitude the whole entire time I was there. It was just disgusting. I will not be going there ever again not if that guy is gonna take care of me he is terrible the meanest he was like an older man and he was just rude. Literally, one of the worst experiences in any animal hospital that I’ve ever had. Why work in a place that you’re not happy he should get another job if he doesn’t wanna work with people.

PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU LOVE YOU PET CHILD! So, I brought my dog here for a yearly checkup because the location was convenient. Later in the week, I took my dog for grooming, after which I found a grape-sized tumor near his rectum, totally missed by the vet. In addition to this, I arrived early and waited in my car for the office to open. I decided to go next door to get a cup of coffee while I waited. I returned only to see someone taking a photo. I did not realize until I received a carbon copy of a ticket in the mail that the man had taken a photo of my car and submitted it to the police department, stating that I had abandoned my car on his private property for more than 48 hours. The ticket was dismissed as I could prove otherwise with my Ring camera and EZ pass records. The funny thing is I saw bad reviews, and the response to the review was, "This is not our patient; they are being vindictive for getting a ticket." I regret not going elsewhere. Just nasty to give her patient a ticket. Be more careful next time (with cars parked there and tumors).

Visited Maplewood Animal Hospital in Maplewood Nj for the first time today. Dr. Roger’s was excellent. I had gotten in my cats way as he was attempting a jump and forced him to land improperly. He became standoffish for a few days. I heard of Maplewood Animal Hospital so I thought I’d better take him there for a look over. Dr. Roger’s was excellent. My cat was at ease. He let Dr. Rogers examine him with no problems and he usually doesn’t take to strangers to easy. Dr. Rogers was kind and showed love to my cat. When I left there he was good and upon arriving home he’s been upbeat, running around the house and everything. Not in a corner hiding or anything. I’d recommend Maplewood Animal Hospital any day, and will definitely be going back . Thanks Dr.Roger’sJames Smoot

I've been taking my adopted chihuahua, Loki to him for 4 years. Dr Rogers has always been great with him even when Loki gets a bit spicy. I love that you can just walk in and don't need to make an appointment. Dr Rogers has also been super attentive and taken time to explain everything to me and I can tell he really cares about his patients. His prices are reasonable and he doesn't push for unnecessary procedures or tests. Only vet I will take my dog to.5/5 for Dr Rogers

Dr . Rodgers got to the bottom of what is going on with our beloved 15 y/o long haired mini dachshund. Dr. Rogers is great with animals and really knows what he's talking about. He does a very thorough and comprehensive job looking at the issue through a new perspective. He ran a culture and sensitivity test to see what medicine would work best on our dog, and found out that she is resistant to a lot of meds that have been thrown at her from a slew of doctors over the years. He found the potential root cause of what was going on with our dog's sinuses that have been overlooked by numerous other vets. He is great with dogs, really cares for them and is quite observant. He will also give you an explanation of what's going on, not just a diagnosis. His prices are very reasonable. Dr Rogers is a sincere veterinarian that genuinely cares for an animal's well-being.

Dr. Roger's is a very compassionate vets. I have had several of my furbabies under his care and I have not been disappointedPeople want to give bads reviews for reasons another reason not his care. They are upset that he doesn't allow people other than his clients park in his lot. This takes away from space that can be used for his patient. They get mad and beco.e aggressive I have witnessed this myself.DrRogers is a very knowledgeable vre you won't be disappointed

Dr Ernie has been our dog Murphy’s vet since she was a pup. 1st time dog owner’s (finally caved for the kids who are now well grown!), Murphy is nearly 14 yo and has relied on Dr Ernie’s professional care for an ACL tear and tooth removal. Thanks Doctor for keeping animal health accessible and affordable

After many years, my husband and I relented to our kids's requests and became dog owners. Fortunately, Murphy has been a patient of Dr Ernie's since she was a pup. He has made health care accessible and affordable for us to been responsible owners. I firmly believe he's there for the pets. He doesn't need to make me feel good about me. He's direct sure, and it's appreciated. The past 13 1/2 years has brought teeth removal, an ACL tear, and preventative treatment Dr Ernie remains a professional and champion for pets. Happily, Murphy remains a part of family.

Terrible vet!! I took my pet to Dr. Rogers the other day and he was so cruel and disrespectful to my little pup!!! My pup kept wining because he had an infection and Dr. Rogers forcibly laid hands on my dog because the vet got annoyed!! I was in utter shock!!! How could this person be an animal doctor!?? More like he’s an animal!!! I am going to call the police on this facility for animal cruelty!! My poor pup is so scared of doctors now :(

Took my dog, Grennie, to Dr. Rogers, I believe, in August 2009. I was driving eastward on Springfield Avenue in Maplewood and was directed or found Maplewood Animal Clinic. Grennie had a cut over her eye, the result of a fight with my other dog. Dr. Rogers was great at treating Grennie. Provided expert attention, though I was from out of state. Highly recommended. I believe Dr. Rogers must have been the same vet, since the website states that he had been at this veterinary practice since 2006. If and when I get back to Maplewood, NJ, I will have to stop in and see him, and thank him again for providing for Grennie in 2009.
