We had a great experience with a very tricky move. A lot of moving pieces and timelines and general movers took great care of our things. They were detailed and fair and just an overall great partner, would totally recommend.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I did not pay for the extra insurance and was asked was I sure 10 times. Sure enough when the truck reached my destination, every thing was all over the floor inside the truck. Glass, wood furniture broken and nothing but excuses! Also, they intentionally didn't pack my glass well all because I didnt pay for the extra insurance. With their broken english and always on their cell phones on my time, they intentionally sabotaged all my property, probably swerving on the road intentionally to break my furniture! We will see what a judge says, I totally intend on pursuing a lawsuit once the dust settles from the move. Don't say you weren't warned. Now the owner will reply, yeah, no we have absolutely no calls or records from this person. That's called the attempted escape clause. Tell your driver he shouldn't be on the cell phone the whole time of my move! Especially while he's driving, but he didn't seem to care.
Wait for expected escape clause! Who. When, What?

Highly recommend General Moving Carriers. They went above and beyond, packed everything with care and made sure everything was right in our new home. Roy and his crew were great, on time and very friendly. They maneuvered a very heavy sleeper sofa without any issue through tight spaces and down 3 flights of stairs. Blew all other movers we have used away. Will use again.
