I went to the Maple Shade CVS pharmacy as a walk in vaccination request. I waited my turn and arrived 20 minutes before their lunch break closure. Upon getting to the counter and asking for a TDAP vaccine, I was meant with hostility by STACY, a tech. She instantly asked if I had an appointment, which I did not. She refused to help me, the longer I stood there questioning her, like do you even have the vaccine in stock? She either mis-spoke, "I don't know if we have any appointments" or was bluntantly trying to turn me away. NO help, explanation, or care. Her main goal was turning me away. I stepped aside, booked the first available appointment at 3PM and provided my information. As I was doing this, another customer heard my struggle and was kind enough to talk to me, offer suggestions and recommend I seek care elsewhere and agreed how ridiculous it was they were turning me away for a walk in vaccine, that they had in stock and could administer in less than a minute. After I booked my appointment, I re-approached the counter as there was no one in line in the store or drive thru and asked again to receive the vaccine. The pharmicist on staff, Kevin, stood nearby listening the entire time, and bluntantly ignored me while Stacy's reply was "when is your appointment?" I said 3. Stacy's response "You can only get the vaccine at 3." At this point, I know its just her way of turning me away, there will be no receiving care for the emergency vaccine I needed as my doctor indicated I needed to get the tetanus shot as soon as possible after cutting myself. At no point did Kevin step in and redirect this conversation, offer any clarity on why a customer less pharmacy that still had 10 mins before their lunch break closure, REFUSED to accept me as a walk-in vaccination client. Kevin was as unhelpful and uncaring as Stacy. It says right on the CVS website under store details that they can accept walk-in vaccinations requests. Per my usual experience with this store, this pharmacy will go to great lengths to not help you, not answer the phone or any questions. They treat you like a nuisance. Also, I would have known I had to make an appointment but you also can no longer speak to a live person when you call CVS pharmacy. It directs you to leave a voicemail with no guarantee when/if theyll call you back. I had no way of knowing what their process was and was met with Stacy's hostile, uncaring attitude. I will be logging a corporate complaint with the district manager against Kevin and Stacy for their utter lack of professionalism, poor communication and handling of the situation, and abuse of their power to turn away a customer. The overall store manager Jane whom I spoke to was very professional and handled the situation beautifully. She provided me all the information, was respectful, she got me their names, keep the situation calm, and expressed her disappointment in them turning me away for no reason. She mentioned the pharmacy is what keeps the store alive. In the end, I called several other pharmacys, spoke to LIVE people, who were professional and accepted walk in vaccination requests. I got my TDAP vaccine instantly at another pharmacy. I will not give business or funds to this pharmacy and I will be transferring my five prescriptions in the morning, which resulted in this pharmacy receiving thousands of dollars a year from my patronage. I will also be logging a corporate complaint and asking to speak to the district manager directly.

I recently had a troubling experience at this pharmacy involving a pharmacy technician with dyed-silver hair and the oversight of the pharmacist. Initially, there seemed to be a misunderstanding regarding my prescription for an antifungal medication, which I was prescribed to take daily for 14 days. However, I was provided with only one pill.
When I raised the issue, the technician did consult with the pharmacist, who presumably confirmed the medication was dispensed correctly according to my doctor’s orders. Unfortunately, neither took the time to verify the intended use of the medication – for an esophageal infection, which clearly requires a dosage different than what was dispensed.
Despite explaining the situation, the technician insisted that one pill was the correct dosage, which is a significant error. The pharmacist should have been consulted again regarding the appropriate dosage for my condition instead of just assuming the initial consultation was sufficient. Had I not confirmed the correct dosage and duration for my diagnosis on my own, I would have only taken the medication for one day instead of the needed 14, potentially allowing my infection to worsen significantly and spread to additional areas.
I was dismayed by the lack of proper attention to patient care and safety, particularly when I overheard the same technician telling her colleague to make anyone with questions step aside, despite there being few customers and ample staff.
This experience has raised serious concerns about the standards of customer service and medical accuracy at this location. I hope this review prompts necessary changes to ensure no one else receives incorrect medical advice or feels dismissed. I would advise potential customers to be very cautious when dealing with this pharmacy.

Alexis exhibited exemplary dedication in attending to my needs, surpassing the call of duty. Amidst my ailment, her genuine concern was palpable. Not only was she easily approachable, but she also exuded immense kindness and empathy towards my compromised health. Her benevolence held profound significance, especially considering my habitual encounters which tend to fall short of expectations. Hailing from the southern region, her authentic display of compassion, impeccable customer service, and refined manners resonated deeply with me. Consequently, I find myself inclined to favor this establishment solely due to the warmth and sincerity she radiates. (I was basically dying Y’all!)

I accumulate my coupons and shop with my CVS app in hand. Colgate Optic White spend $20. Get a $10. Cash back coupon. I purchsed 20.67 worth of toothpaste to qualify for thecash back coupon. Yellow Tag on the shelf and I took a picture. The manager will not honor the shelf tag!!! The manager had several answers for WHY she will not honor the yellow Tag. Sooo, I ask to have the transaction canceled and refund my money. Can't do the either because I used my Independence Blue Cross OTC card. $20.00 worth of toothpaste and you can't refund me (I never left the store)I then became anoyed. No $10 cash back and your not going to refund my hard earned benefit as a senior citizen. It not a welfare card. It's part of my Medicare Advantage plan benefits. CVS is closing the Pennsauken store on Browning Road. They chose the WRONG staff to get rid of.

There are 2 main pharmacists, one male who is very good. He has always been very helpful and truly maintains a very positive attitude. The other Pharmacist is a female who is a snob and is very judgmental. When I started new medications she completely changed the way she treated me. She talks to me like she is above me and for someone in a position like hers, there is a great amount of privacy, but needless to say she should still have the common courtesy and decency to provide customer service to every customer without judging them based on medication. I tried giving her the benefit of the doubt thinking maybe she was having a bad day, but found out quickly that it wasn't a bad day. It was her view of me based on medication that I take. Cvs is a huge chain and the last thing that Company needs is a judgmental, snobby Pharmacist who completely destroys relationships built through trust by treating them like they are nothing. Not only does she do that but she does it in front of her staff where now they think that is OK behavior. Thinking that the service couldn't get any worse, she was able to accomplish doing exactly that. Now every time my doctor calls in my prescriptions electronically and I go to pick them up she tells me that I can't get them because the doctor didn't call them in correctly. So she denies me my medication that needs to be followed and taking when prescribed. In my opinion, since the doctor is electronically, sending in the prescriptions, and according to her is not the correct way, she should be contacting the Doctor and letting them know how she wants them to send it in. If I was bringing the handwritten prescriptions in and there was an issue, I would be going back to the doctor and explaining what the pharmacy is looking for. She refuses to contact the doctors office and let them know what they're doing wrong. So I have been back-and-forth with the Doctor at least five times explaining what I'm being told by the pharmacist and it still continues to be incorrect. But let me add in a sidenote, when I deal with the male pharmacist, he always is able to fill the scripts no problem and never gives me a hard time. If there is a mistake, he contacts the doctor and explains the issue. The male pharmacist, in my opinion, is a prime example of great customer service. By him doing this it allows me to continue to take my medication as prescribed, unlike the female pharmacist where a week or two goes by without getting my medication.

I do not understand having an app if it isn't working properly. My prescriptions are either overfilled or not at all. I tried using the auto fill setting, which seemed to make things worse. The pharmacy says it is my Doctors fault, then my Doctor says it is CVS not receiving my prescription refills. I was under the impression that most computers in the medical community receive and request patient information from both systems. If not for CVS being close to where I live, I would choose another location. The pharmacy I use seems to be understaffed quite often.(I cannot fault the pharmacy staff for computer glitches).

I went to pickup an item and the cashier said they had no item for my order. On the email, it said it was ready to pickup. She never once asked for the order number - just the name. I tried to give my order number but she wouldn't want it. I then asked her what I can do about it and she just stared at me and waited until I walked away. Huh???

Whatever you do don't go to this cvs. Manage totally non response to clients needs. No pharmacist on duty due to a death in the family . The manager a short bald middle aged man made me feel that his needs ie he knew the person who died than mine. I was there to get a scheduled Covid test. He sent me to another cvs only to find out that could not be done. He did not have a clear understanding of his job. He should have known that could not be done. The pharmacist at cvs on union was equally inept. Made it very clear that she could not help us. With this lack of customer service I suggest you go elsewhere for your needs. Cvs should be ashamed of themselves. If I could have given them zero stars I would have.

At 9:00 am I was told my medication would not be ready until 11:00. When I called at that time I was rudely told that it would take until 1:00. Why does it take 4 hours to fill an important script?

Always fast check out but the store is always in a bit of disarray and with the drive through always closed…It is not getting a higher rating.

Let me be clear—the pharmacists and associates here have all been wonderful. THEY deserve five stars. But the manager who works here is creepy as hell. He accused me of stealing, so be cautious if you dare to walk out of the store without buying something and (gasp!) carry a bag, even though you have to now because of the state plastic bag ban. Also, I see him talk down to female associates and it’s uncomfortable. I feel welcome in the store when he’s not there, but I’ve definitely heard others in the nearby neighborhood say this manager sketched them out too.
