“3.5 no way not from my experience. It's preventive care and I think that people are confused about that and a regular Veterinarian Dr. Which is the same you just really have to read an ask ?s Also u can call and go in the other vett hopefully if it's not to busy or u have to go to a hospital if it's a little more serious than you think.Banfield all the shots are done all of them u can bring fecal, urine an not a charge just alittle each mth it's worth it .But all the trips to a vett for a payment of a visit shots then back again to pay office visit ect . More adds up.U do save lots$ plus you can have pet lked at for a walk in emergency not a hospital emergency it's a preventive care place with Dr's so if u see a rash or a certain bite or a bump and they will see your pet I was always able too and if serious it's worth it less aniexty cause u will know what's going on faster then to not be able to get in at your own vett .Remember they said that u have to just call 2 make sure it's not swapped and I see price 's went up well so did minimum wage and dog food and human food ect .Least they now have a radiograph xray not sure about the size or what particular kind to me that's great news they didnt in 2017 an that is huge deal an a grest idea and the whole emergency is so gd to be added to plan.. Then u know well if in that situation u see how convenient .Read It's preventive care only an its not that they don't know what to do its just the rules of the workers for Banfield I've been with them since 2005 on off as I was a snow bird .I also told people a couple I know an my brother aswell as 2 dogs with his grl friend too goes both all 4 of them actually and he was in NJ now Florida so I see their on the west coast in Florida I didn't know till 5 he told me when he moved .5 stats so far .”

“This place is the best and I mean it I had a emergency visit for ford my dachshund got him right in did not over charge me or anything gave him the right treatment and he was back to normal in 2 days I don’t take my dog to the vet unless I am scared and he is really sick and he was thank you for keep ford happy and healthy and back to barking you guys are the best!!!! If u have a dachshund you know what I mean about the barking lol”

“I took my Guinea pig to All Creatures for a checkup and concerns over blood in urine. All the staff was fantastic and made us feel at home. They were so gentle with him during the exam and incredibly knowledgeable, gave me helpful advice. The pricing was so reasonable too. It’s a bit far from me but totally worth it and I’ll be bringing both my boys here from now on.”

“My cat is not a patient at Just For Cats, but they were so incredibly helpful to me and my cat when I was desperately searching for a bag of her special diet food. My cat’s food at her regular vet was out of stock, my delivery order of her food was delayed, and my cat was running out of food. I called and emailed dozens of vets in the Philly/Greater Philly area, and Just For Cats was the only one willing and able to help me and my cat, even though she is not a patient with them. Without their help, my cat would’ve run out of her special diet food and I would’ve been at a loss for what to do. I am so grateful for their help, and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a caring and compassionate practice for their cat.”

Great neighborhood vet with a compassionate, experienced, and professional staff.It cost us ~$200 total without any insurance to get our 2 cats their checkup, and we were out the door in less than 45 minutes. The vet has a great touch with cats and was able to keep both of ours calm despite some necessary medical man-handling!Don't come here looking for easy parking - visit for the best neighborhood vet you could ever want.”

“I just want to start off by saying I have never had a dog before in my life and when i found my dog i did not know what to do or how to take the proper care of her. Dr Mike and his staff helped me since day 1. The last 8 years they have been there and squeezed me in when i needed to come in. Not only is Dr Mike very knowledgeable and kind but he has such patience’s for all animals especially the nervous ones. My dog Chanel was defiantly a nervous one. In June she crossed the rainbow bridge and i couldn’t thank Dr Mike and his staff enough. From showing me since kindness and patience’s to giving me the time i need to say goodbye. This was one of the hardest things i ever went through. I miss her everyday. No matter where i move i will always take my pets to dr mike. That drive is worth it. Thank you again to his amazing staff and to Dr Mike.”

“We recently had an emergency visit our 2.5 year old dog. She was diagnosed with anal gland infection and her treatment at the hospital was excellent. The doctor and staff were very helpful and they made sure we understood what treatment was necessary. The only issue we have is that they did not make a follow up call a few days later to check on her condition. Having said that, our dog is back to normal and no follow up is necessary.”

“Our first visit went very well. Dr. Mengine and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Dr Mengine was very thorough with my dog Lola's exam. She patiently listened to all the information I had to share about my dogs health and former treatments from another veterinary clinic. She offered me a detailed explanation of my dogs test results from the last few months and came up with a new plan for us. My dog was given high blood pressure medicine and prescription dog food and expensive supplements from the last vet and Dr. Mengine explained why they were unnecessary. She did more blood work, but only a very specific kind that didn't cost as much. She promised to call me with the results if they require follow up. I was recommended to this office from my friend/neighbor and I am so glad I tried them. Hopefully Lola will get a clean bill of health shortly, and I can be relieved of worry and unnecessary costs.”

“I've been going to RVAH for over 10 years. They are competent and caring professionals. They've taken very good care of a cat and 2 dogs now. I read the full reviews of the 3 people who gave poor ratings. One said they hung up after waiting (a whole) 5 minutes on hold and were indignant about having to wait to be seen once they arrived when they were granted an emergency appointment for their pet that wasn't even a patient normally at the hospital. Apparently they were so rude and belligerent they were denied service. As a nurse I can empathize with staff having to deal with that gem of a family member of the patient. #2 was mad the doctor had to postpone a neuter because of the dog's dental issue needing to be fixed first. Number three was pissed they needed to make an appointment to have their dog receive medication. How many doctors you know treat patients without seeing them first? Vets don't have crystal balls. Vets are DOCTORS of animal medicine. Just like people, sometimes pet appointments don't go as planned because they find things unexpectedly that take priority or take longer than planned. It's a hospital, not a hair salon or a fast food drive thru. Do you want good thorough care or an assembly line? If it's good thorough care then take your furbaby here.”
