We LOVE Under the Sun! We had to wait a while for a spot to open up for our daughter in the infant room, but that's only because word is getting out that this is THE place to send your babies. They truly have your children's best interest at heart, love them like they're their own, and are so good about communicating with us about our girl through the app and phone calls. We just had baby #2 and he will be joining his sister once I go back to work. The teachers have met our boy and already love him. While maternity leave ending will be so hard, knowing that he's already loved there makes it a little easier on this mama's heart. I only wish they could take a picture every day for the app, but seeing how busy the toddlers are, I understand why/how they can't! We can't recommend Under the Sun enough - just plan ahead and be patient with the waiting list... I promise, it's worth the wait! It was for us <3

I remember going there when I was a kid. The experience I had wile going there is that the food is gross and the teachers are rude.

We chose Under the Sun 4 years ago when looking for childcare for our infant son and it is one of the best decisions we have made as parents. Our son looks forward to going to school each day. The staff is incredible and has always treated our son, and us, like family. From day one, we felt comfortable dropping him off and knew he was in good hands. We would recommend this center to anyone that asks and look forward to continuing to use them for years to come!

As a first time mom I was extremely nervous about taking my daughter to daycare. When looking at daycares, Under the Sun would always come up as one of the top daycares in the area. When it was time for me to return to work, I realized my daughter hated taking bottles and always wanted to be close to me. I was so worried about leaving her that I even considered quitting my job. The staff was so very supportive! They assured me that they would take good care of her and that everything would be fine. Everyone from the director to all of the teachers helped to nurture her and make her transition nice & smoothe. I no longer had to worry about her because they treated her like their own, especially the head teacher in the infant room. Fast forward 2 years later and I just started my son there as well. He is receiving the same love and care that his sister did. And his sister is still there flourishing and she is learning so very much. I would give them 1000 stars if I could! I encourage everyone looking for daycare to send their children here!

We highly recommend Under The Sun West Deptford. The staff has been very welcoming, communicative, and flexible. The lead teachers' years of experience is obvious and our daughter has learned so much in her first few months there. The staff has been accommodating in working with a walking delay and has been willing to assist however they can. It is comforting to know that our toddler is in such good hands.

Being a new resident to New Jersey we knew no one or any child care centers in the area, so we toured them all. We chose Under the Sun and sent two of our four children ages 10 months & 2 years old. Our daughters began in the infant room & the 2 year old room- every single staff member and teacher made this such an easy transition for me; the over protective Mom. Due to The pandemic we took some time off from sending our girls and we made the decision this past fall it was time to send them back- best decision ever!!! I am a full time student and I don’t have a worry in the world while my girls are in their care; every staff member has provided loving care for them. The school & staff is very covid conscious and taking every step to keep the children & families safe! Our babies are now in the pre-school 3 & 2’s room- they are excited to go every day! I have nothing but positive things to say about this center and recommend everyone I know to them!

My son developed behaviors when starting at this daycare. Instead of trying to find out what was causing it and trying different solutions, they made him leave. We were even told that they couldn’t do anything and that they weren’t allowed to do anything. I was so disgusted with the staff here. My son has since started a new daycare and is doing great. The staff the are most amazing people ever. If you’re child has behaviors or diagnosed with any disorder, do not go here. They won’t accommodate them or give them a chance.

The staff at Under the Sun do a wonderful job caring for both of my children, one of which has special needs. When I drop them off in the morning I am certain they will be loved and cared for by each and every one of their staff members!

My daughter started preschool with UTS. It was the best decision we made. Her teachers were so loving and my daughter loved her time there. She continued with before and after care along with summer camp. Her teacher, Ms. Sue is AMAZING!!! I couldn’t have asked for a better person to care for our child. We left due to moving. I highly recommend Under The Sun.

Under The Sun Learning Center has been a Godsend and a safe haven of love and kindness for our daughter. From the baby room to pre-k graduation and summer camp under the direction of Sharon Hulmes our daughter has learned the social skills necessary to move forward to kindergarten. I highly recommend this daycare.The staff is empathetic, loving and kind. They treat the children like their very own.

I have been a part of this day care for 6+ years. The staff is awesome, my son is now 9 and my daughter is 3. Both my children love Under The Sun! I recommend them to anyone that’s interested!!

My daughter attended under the sun from 6 months to 18 months then stayed home with me for a year and a half and recently started going back to school there at age 3 . I cannot express how grateful I am to have the teachers be so loving and helpful with helping her get adjusted to being back in school again . What I thought would be a difficult change for her , was such a smooth change and great experience instead ! Its never easy to be away from your child but knowing she is happy , healthy , and safe keeps my mind at ease . I would reccomend this school .

My 4-year-old daughter has been there since about 6-months old and my 1-year old son has been there since 3-months old.I would and do HIGHLY recommend this daycare!Very friendly and excellent staff who genuinely care about the children!My kids love it here. They've made tons of friends and have flourished in their development.It's never easy to leave your little ones for the majority of a day, 5 days a week, but it helps a little bit to know they will be well cared for and happy.It isn't cheap, but it's impossible to put a price on keeping your kids safe, happy and healthy when you can't be with them.

My son (9) went there from 4mths old till 5 years old. My daughter (3) has been going there since she was 3mths old. We have had an amazing experience. We fully trust them with our children. Being away from your children is extremely difficult but with Under the Sun we have no worries. We know they will care for them like they are their own.
