Called to see if they had a medication in stock. Spoke to a woman, and she said she would ask the pharmacist. She gets back on the phone and says it's not in stock (not a problem). I asked if the med could be ordered, and she said no. A pharmacy can't order a medication? I heard so many good things about this place, but I will never use them.

A great local pharmacy that knows you by your first name. I’ve had nothing but great experiences at Boyd’s. The staff is really great! Marvin is the best!

I had a strange experience with this place. I started going there because I was tired of the big chain places and wanted to support a local business. I had a new medication filled once with no problem. When I tried to get it refilled, I received a voicemail that it was on back order and requesting a call back. I called back and I believe spoke to the same person. I gave her my name and the reason I was calling and she said "yup." After a long pause, she said "any questions?" This was after she specifically asked me to call back, so I was expecting some sort of explanation or an offer to order it. I asked her if she knew when it would be in and she said "Nope. Your best bet is to call around to other pharmacies." I called CVS and they were very helpful and were able to call over to Boyd's and get the prescription transferred.I definitely got the vibe that Boyd's just didn't want to be bothered to order my medication. Again, I wanted to like the place and keep going there. Don in particular was very helpful on a couple occasions, but this experience was pretty off - putting. Back to the big chains it is, I guess.

There are still places where they know your name and are interested in having a relationship with their customers! Stay away from the corporate drug stores! Come here instead!

Highly recommend Boyd’s for your go to pharmacy!! The clerks are very friendly and helpful as well as the pharmacists. Our family has used Boyd’s for years on end and we are consistently happy with the service we receive!
