Would be 5 stars. The location is excellent, especially if you are traveling to Seaside or LBI, as it's at the junction of 539 and route 70. So that's awesome. Unfortunately due to this fact it can also be difficult to get in and out of, but not a big deal. The prices are good. Best in the town of Whiting by far, be it wine, beer, or liquor, they generally offer a considerable discount to their competitors.
My one beef is that the employees are consistently rude. There is a language barrier and perhaps a cultural and customs barrier when it comes to manners. It's therefore possible I'm simply ignorant. However, they seem awfully unfriendly. I always smile and say hello, and I'm often ignored. I don't take it personally because I see them behave that way to everyone they serve. I just don't understand that kind of behavior. Especially to regular customers. Maybe there's something I'm missing.

Not even worth one star. Should be zero stars.
Apparently it is family owned by the people in the house behind it, walking back and forth all the time. No problem, but the people there are rude and CONSTANTLY talking on their cell phones, even when a customer is at the counter. They just don't stop. I often have to repeat myself because their conversations are more important than their customers.
The store is SO very often out of stock of many items. Empty cooler shelves are very common. Smaller bottles of rum, whiskey, etc behind the counter can be missing for days or more than a week.
When there were NO 12 packs of can beers recently, I asked, and I was told very rudely, 'No, not here, GO!'.
Go, I went, for good.
The store is dirty. Very dirty. Disgusting.
The aisles are often cluttered with boxes. This presents a hazard in case of a fire or other emergency when people need to evacuate the premises quickly and safely.
Horrible people, horrible store, horrible way to treat customers, horrible way to do business.

Don't show up here10 min before closing time because u will be locked out it is a constant they stare out the window at the customers they are losing

Whenever I have a request for a specific whiskey or liquor, they try to bring it in for me. They stock seasonal drinks and are kind and polite.

They are never stocked. Always seems like some shady business going on, clerks are always on there personal cell phones, went there 3 times and left with nothing.....had to go elsewhere.
