this was an interesting class! We had a long haired blonde instructor, very cool vibe from her. I had never done spin before. The lights were off and sometimes it was like a meditation class and other times it was like a hip hop dance class. Couldn’t quite pin down what the experience was. I’ll definitely try it again sometime !

Live.Laugh.Love it here. Some tips for beginners:1. The best seat in the house is the one you're sitting in, but the back row vibes are pretty chill. Get to class early if seat selection matters to you.2. When the beats start, find someone in the front row who has their own shoes and try to copy them. Take breaks as needed.3. The resistance knob is key. Use it to match the pace of the song.4. The "sidebar" does not serve drinks.5. When the instructor says "give me a touch more" resistance, you can pretend to turn it up. It's a dark room. They'll never know.6. If you come unclipped, do not panic. Take the opportunity to catch your breath. If you can't clip back in, a friendly neighbor or the instructor will help you out.7. Stay hydrated. It gets steamy in there and you're going to sweat, or at least glisten.8. When you make it to arms, you're almost there.9. The weights sound light and they are... for the first 30 seconds... then they are not. Plan accordingly.10. To dismount, pretend you're squashing a bug with your foot. Well, two bugs. One on each side.Cheers. Happy pedaling.

I give the staff and instructors here 6+ stars. They are all really great and it is extremely clean. However, the equipment is older and needs to be adjusted frequently during the class. Also, I can't use my own spin shoes here because they don't work with the bikes and I have to rent their very sweaty spin shoes.

I. LOVE. THIS. STUDIO. I have never done a spin class up until about three weeks ago when I did a free trial with ClassPass. I have been frequenting the Asbury Park location ever since and have absolutely fallen head over heels in love with spin. The instructors bring such an incredible energy and so much inspiration and encouragement that gets you through the ride, with amazing music and fun choreography. I absolutely love AK and Nicole R, and can't wait to try other instructors too! Highly recommend giving this place a try, because I have found something I never knew I loved and needed so badly. My weeks are not complete without it!

A “gift” to step into a Spin Studio, while visiting, and experience every ounce of energy & skill, we seek.

AK is one of the best instructors i have ever taken class from she's positive and has so much great energy and her smile is contagious. with that being said she is probably the only one i have seen smile in that studio. the front desk staff looks like they want to be anywhere but there. i have worked at a spin studio before and i know the attitude of the front desk changes the whole dynamic of the studio and they are not doing their jobs very well. i asked for help with a bike the other day and two front desk members and the instructor looked at me like i had three heads. overall everyone seems to have an attitude in the studio. the spin class is decent enough and being the only one in the area there aren't any other options of studios to go to. therefore, i will most likely go back but not very often as i can only take their crappy attitudes every so often.
