i like the sweater i got even thought it was a bit overpriced, the customer service was okay, cute souvenirs, just odd they sell live crabs as if they are toys. they have a deal where if you buy a "crab care kit" you get a crab with it but they give you the wrong care instructions. i overheard the lady explain what to do with the crab and everything was just straight up wrong. otherwise, it's a nice store.

This place is horrendous! To begin with, there was no one inside the store and no one at the front. I decided to grab what I needed and wait at the front (which no one was at the register) I called out and was told someone will be there to ring me up. I waited 15 minutes!! Insane! I was the only one waiting let alone in the store! Finally the cashier rung me up- the problem (aside from me waiting that long) was the cashier’s attitude-completely unprofessional. Didn’t even apologize for the wait and literally throwing my things in a bag while huffing and puffing. Definitely do not recommend this store to anyone. I will most definitely NOT be returning. Also, for the price of their items- you can find better elsewhere.

TERRIBLE customer service. I went in to purchase a single item and no one was inside the store I walked around saying “hello” And “is there anyone here?” For 10-15 minutes still no answer, a lady maybe in her 50’s finally came out of the back and said “I’ll be right there” another 10 minutes go by ZERO PEOPLE IN THE STORE just me and this rude lady that works there 9am on Friday morning. TERRIBLE customer service. I went in to purchase a single item and no one was inside the store I walked around for 10 minutes yelling "hello" still no answer, a lady finally came out and said "I'll be right there" another 10 minutes go by ZERO PEOPLE IN THE STORE just me and this rude lady that works there. Now she says I'm being rude and that she doesn't like me and kept asking how old I am for whatever reason and told me to get out because she refused to ring me up. I did nothing but walk in wanting to purchase one item, she was most likely doing something she shouldn't be doing on company time and got mad because she got caught... by a customer. I will make sure I spread the word about my experience to everyone I know specially in the area. This has been the worse experience I've had at ANY store. Will never recommend will never return. Walmart and target sell the same stuff this store does at 1/3 of the price, take a trip the day before instead of being treated like garbage by the clerk at surf and sun shoppe. ZERO stars.

Great spot for postcards, Manasquan town branded sportswear, flip flops, sunglasses, and everything else you need for a day st the beach-which is about twenty yards away!

This shoppe is great! A MUST STOP IN while in Manasquan. Lots of great stuff, great location and great people. For that reason, I give it Three G's!
