This morning on April 26, 2024, I found myself with a flat on my VW Jetta JUST before I had to go to work. I took it to Frank's, expecting a long wait since I expected the auto to have a lot more jobs that day. But the wait took an hour actually, and they not only got me a patch job for the flat but also recommended me to Tires Tires for getting a new tire on, because they didn't want me driving on the HWs on a patch job. This was a godsend, so thanks to Frank and its owners/mechanics for not only offering efficient service but also for its recommendation of more nearby stores instead of using the VW dealership.

On my recent visit to Manasquan my car was in great need of an alignment and new tires. They took me rt in and ordered the tires I asked for and didn't try to sell me another brand . They did a wonderful job on the alignment and sent me off w my badly needed new tires and I was in my way. They were very kind and helpful to me. I visit the area often and will return again. We moved fairly recently to Manasquan and needed to find a trusted place to have our 3 vehicles taken care of. In the past 8 months we have utilized Frank's Auto Repair 5 times. Each time the repairs were professionally done, we were continually updated with progress, and the prices were very fair. Very happy overall with each experience and will continue to use Frank's Auto Repair for all future car/SUV repairs and maintenance. Owners were beyond unprofessional and rude. I was told I was impatient because I asked for an estimate time of repair after my vehicle sat there for three weeks with no updates from the shop. I found much cheaper options with more competent mechanics . I have documentation of my experience if the owner would like to refute my experience.Edit: locally I have found a plethora of friendly and knowledgeable mechanics.

Time and again Frank's Auto Repair has shown me that they have integrity, and are only place I'll get car work done! Back in 2018 I owned a ***** and took it to ******* for rear brakes because they gave me a lower price which included changing the drums (the price at Coast ***** was higher despite reusing the old drums). About an hour after I dropped off the car, I got a call from **** the shop owner. He said that the brakes were just dirty and he would service them but couldn't possibly sell me on new ones. I felt so grateful for ****** integrity (and so angry at *****).I planned to give ******* all of my future repair business. But a couple of years later I got a used ***** and heard great things about a ***** specialist in Spring Lake (close to my house). Stop in this morning to have windshield wipers looked at during the awful weather. Front desk was very helpful and owner came out in the miserable weather tweaked my wipers and sent me in my way. Great service! Thank youService: General repairs & maintenance

Needed an emergency wheel balancing on a visit to Manasquan. They fit me in first thing the next morning and did a great job at a very reasonable price. Car drove perfectly on the way home. Friendly staff and great service!

I Bring my car here alot for servicing and this place does amazing service. They are honest with you. Upfront about the issue and always complete the job as quick and efficient as possible. I highly recommend anyone to go there . They are the best by far

Horrible Horrible Horrible. I once brought my 1989 car there and he said he was going to look for parts to fix it, two week later I had heard nothing. I called and he said they weren't able to find the parts needed so I asked "How much would this cost to fix if we had the parts" and he told me he had no idea. So I went to sell the car and the buyer called this place and asked how much the repair would cost and he quoted them 1000 to 2000 and the buyer then used that as a negotiation point against me. I just don't understand why he wouldn't tell me and made me look dishonest to the buyer.

Talk about customer service combined with know how. I was in town on vacation and they helped me with a complex issue with my Subaru. Through no fault of theirs, the part failed within it's warranty but I'm not local to bring the car back. They worked with my mechanic and their parts company and refunded the work I had to do elsewhere INCLUDING the labor. Hopefully they will open up a shop where I live, haha, but otherwise I'll have them do any maintenance I need whenever I am in Manasquan.

This is the shop my employer uses for our fleet of vehicles. They are very honest and trustworthy, and always complete the work very quickly. I've even begun bringing my personal vehicle here because I know I can trust them for reasonable and fast service. Love these guys, highly recommended!

These guys are great! My car has a lot of issues. I was hesitant to take it to a shop out of fear that they either wouldn't touch it, would want to repair more than I could afford, or take advantage of me in some way. I was pleasantly surprised at how fast, honest and communicative Frank's auto was in fixing my problem. They called me and detailed exactly what needed to be done to get my car back on the road, and called me once again when it was completed just a few hours later. I'm very pleased with the work that was done. The quality of the repair is holding up beautifully and didn't cost nearly as much as I was expecting. It puts my mind at ease knowing I have a safe and trustworthy place to take my car from now on. Thank you guys!
