I have been shopping at Wegman's for the past six years, since moving to New Jersey from New York. They started off great. However, for the past 9 months or so, I have been using the curb side pickup option. Well, I have to tell you that EVERY SINGLE WEEK THERE ARE AT LEAST A DOZEN ITEMS THAT ARE NOT AVAILABLE!!! Wegman's is supposed to be a top rated store. I have heard every excuse there is. From moving things around to difficulty in getting products. And I'm not talking about specialty items either. Clorox bleach spray cleaner, cookies, cheese, etc. This is really unacceptable. I changed my pickup day from the weekend to one day during the week. it hasn't helped at all. And to make matters worse, whenever I call the store manager they are incredibly rude. Today, while I was explaining what was going on, the manager was speaking to someone else. THAT'S NOT CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ALL!!!! WEGMAN'S CHARGES TOP DOLLAR FOR ITEMS. YOU THINK THEY COULD DO BETTER. I THINK I WILL SHOP SOMEWHERE ELSE, WHERE CUSTOMERS ARE TREATED WITH RESPECT.

Horrible simply Horrible, extremely rude staff never on time , don't go there CVS way better extremely rude pharmiest as well , if there is a rating less than half a star I would have applied it .

It breaks my heart to have to write this review, but I'm hoping the "big boys" I see marching around the store will take notice. First off, the employees are the best. Always willing to help, and always with a smile. I certainly hope they are adequately rewarded for this. PRE-PANDEMIC, this would have been my favorite, local supermarket. ( No too hard to beat Shop-Rite...absolutely hate that store.) But, of recent there have been too many changes that I am not happy with. First, the elimination of other competitive brand names. I like choices, and my choice selection on many items is dwindling. All I see is "Wegman's" brand. It's okay, on certain items, but it is starting to invade the store. There is only 1 brand of honey...you guessed it. I have a preference, and the store brand is not it. Many of the condiments, spices, pretzels...I could go on and on. Next disappointment is the bulking of fish and produce. I can't get my fish cut they way they used to. It's hit or miss, whether or not I will get what I want for dinner...and, "god-forbid", I get to the store after 3 PM, you can kiss a tuna steak good-bye. If there are any left, they are usually way to big for our needs. Since you don't "cut to order" anymore, I wind up leaving with nothing. Wegman's is totally non-competitive with soda...Coke cola or Pepsi cola for non-Wegman's brands and your prices are ridiculous! I absolutely will never buy store brand soda. So, it seems that my trips to Wegman's are getting further apart. That makes me very sad. I come, now, only when I want fish or fruit, and do my "product-choice" shopping elsewhere. Please don't destroy the fish department or produce, any further than you have, already. They are the only reason I shop at the store. Whew!

I still shop here tho not as much as I used to. Not the same feeling., Pandemic and the " new normal " saw to that. More self checkout, and once have been accused of shoplifting " Most employees are sincerely helpful....They are the best employees I have encountered at supermarkets to date. Ambiance, I used to love the asian bar n buffet at the entrance. That no longer is full size. Soft drink machine is gone now too.

I stopped into Wegmans about a week and a half ago to order flowers for a special occasion. I was initially helped by a lovely young woman who suggested I speak with Lillian who designs the arrangements. Lillian was knowledgeable, making suggestions and absolutely wonderful to work with. I picked up the flowers today and couldn't be happier. Thank you again Lillian!!!

Unbelievably rude employees. I’ll never return. Last Saturday I asked the pharmacist for a suggestion for my 3 year olds sore throat. No recommendations, didn’t want to be bothered and pointed to the children’s medicine section. Today I had to go to the doctor. She diagnosed me with bronchitis. My Dr prescribed me an inhaler, an antibiotic and a cough medicine with codeine for night time as I’ve been coughing my brains out all he last 2 nights and keeping myself and my family awake. My pharmacy is Costco. They didn’t have the cough medicine, but said they would on Monday. But, if I needed it sooner (which I do) and could locate it elsewhere, I should have my Dr cancel and order where it’s in stock. So the Wis aro the corner for make no sense and it’s just the rude ones Pugh me and I asked if they had it in stock. I wrote down the name, ml, dosage, etc. Wegmans wouldn’t tell me whether they had it or not unless they had an actual prescription. I said I’ll have my doctor transfer it, but want to ensure you have it first. Apparently it’s a big secret to them as she refused to tel me. What am I supposed to do? Tell my doctor to transfer it there, then they don’t have it. Go other pharmacies and have my doctor on standby to keep transferring it? It’s just so rude, had she been nice about it at least and explained why, I wouldn’t be writing their review.

This is overly crowded store. Even then it's well stocked and organized. You can always see staff stocking the shelves. They have wine & liqour section, pharmacy and everything else in between. The produce is great. Love their hot prepared food sections. And their bakery section and products are amazing. The prices are great vs quantity vs options to select from.

Never have seen a bakery department so inconsistent Tired of going there to be told we didn't make any today ( onion rolls). Then stopped making rye bread or bialys Never know what your going to get.
