“Central Monmouth Animal Hospital is wonderful! I have taken all 4 of my dogs there since we moved to the area and I have always had a very positive experience, even when my dog’s medical situation was challenging and upsetting. Dr. Cavalieri has successfully performed 2 difficult surgeries on my 2 senior dogs, restoring them both to incredible levels of wellbeing that I was not sure could be possible. Dr. Bloom and Dr. Cavalieri are also so fair in their pricing for services. I literally paid 10 times the amount I was charged here when I took my dog to an emergency hospital for a similar surgical procedure because I had no other option. The entire team at Central Monmouth Animal Hospital is so compassionate and caring. I visit them weekly at this point because my 2 seniors have needed a lot of veterinary care, and everyone is always so helpful and friendly. It’s just a wonderful place with competent professionals. A perfect place to get the medical care your pet deserves! I give them my highest recommendation! Thank you for taking such excellent care of Brice (rest in peace), Sweet Pea, Beans and Frank! “Dr. Rashid has done an incredible job taking care of my pet budgie. I was very concerned that my budgie was going to die because of a previous similar situation with another budgie of mine, but Dr. Rashid hit the diagnosis on the nail. My budgie is feeling so much better and I couldn't be happier. Dr. Rashid has also taken care of my cat, who is very difficult to pill and even handle and barely lets you touch her and she was feeling better on her injection in a matter of 3 days!! You will not regret choosing him as your primary care veterinarian whether you have an exotic pet or a dog/cat. Sadly my vet Dr. Katie Parker left and I now go back to Oakhurst Veterinary Hospital and use this vet as a backup. I was very disappointed no one ever told me.
I finally went back and was very happy with everyone at the front desk and with Dr V who I adored but now she hasn't been there for 3 or 4 months and the other vet just left and there's only one that left that doesn't even see you in person she just sees the dog and charges an arm and a leg so I'm very disappointed right now!”

Dr. Connelly is honestly one of the best vets I’ve ever met. She’s incredibly knowledgeable and always takes her time during each appointment. She never rushes, explains absolutely everything in detail so I fully understand what’s going on, and gives such helpful guidance. She also doesn’t make you feel overwhelmed and she breaks everything down in such a clear, calm way.
One of the things I appreciate most is how easy she is to reach, even via text. It gives me so much peace of mind knowing I can reach out if I’m worried or unsure about something with my cat, Boots. She always responds, always cares, and always goes above and beyond.

“I felt the need to leave a review because in all the years I’ve had working as a vet assistant or in the animal industry alone I have not witnessed such compassion and genuine care. To make a long story short my dog Mirena unfortunately had to be put to sleep and her own vet wouldn’t take her on a short notice even tho she was suffering. I’m terrible with names, but the woman in the photos wearing the purple scrubs made sure that my baby was seen so she wouldn’t suffer, unlike the other places I had called around to. I will be switching over to you guys as my permanent vet for my other babies as well. I just wanted to thank you again for the care and kindness your facility has shown me and my Mirena in her last moments.”

“Our Halo had a malignant tumor on her left shoulder which we confirmed by x-ray from our vet on Monday 10-21-19. The manipulation of the x-ray caused her horrific pain during the night and I was desperate to get her relief. Dr. Weinberg answered his phone at 5:30am and verbalized that we were not in his area. After I explained Halo's pain, he agreed to come and euthanized her at home. He was compassionate and got to work right away, explaining the entire procedure step by step. Halo is resting in peace and was at home surrounded by her family when she crossed the Rainbow Bridge. Thank You to Dr. Weinberg, we are forever grateful.”

“Dr.Hughes recently came out to see my horse Gambino when he was colicking, and she was so great. I was so grateful, since we are not clients of Colts Neck Equine but my usual vet was not available, and she still drove from over an hour away to come take care of my boy during an emergency. She did such a wonderful job helping us manage his impaction colic on the farm, coming back again later in the afternoon to give him more fluids when he needed it and checking in with us by phone over the next couple days.
