“The hosts of the guest house, Mark, Joanne, and Christina, were incredibly friendly and welcoming. They went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. What impressed me the most was their genuine love and adoration for dogs. They welcomed my furry companions with open arms, making them feel right at home.
Overall, our experience at the Island Guest House was exceptional. The fabulous breakfasts, the serene outdoor area, and the warm hospitality of the hosts made it a truly memorable stay. I highly recommend this bed and breakfast to anyone looking for a peaceful and pet-friendly retreat."

“This is such a cute little inn in Barnegat! We really loved our stay. It was great having a little oven and fridge. The balcony was a great little bonus. The room was spacious and the queen bed was very comfortable. It's a quick stroll to the beach and the receptionist gave us beach badges which was a nice touch. We had a great stay here and can't wait to be back!”

“What a wonderful surprise when we really needed a place to stay for the night. The room felt like a personal beach house on loan from a friend. I slept as I hadn't slept in days. I woke up to the salt air as I walked down to the beautiful light house park a few blocks away. What a treat!Nearby activities: The Coast Guard station was 1 block away, and the Light House Park and beach was just down the street.Noteworthy details: The room was finished with driftwood colored floors, light fixtures and decorations that reminded you that you were by the sea. Lovely.”

“We have enjoyed this hotel in three different visits over the past few years. The upgrades they have made are lovely, albeit pricey, but it is LBI in the Summer so it is what it is. The restaurant has good food and it’s in a great location. However, on our past visits we found the staff - from reception to bartender to waitress to be much nicer and more accommodating. This year we were highly disappointed though. It’s almost as if the owners said we’ve made the place beautiful so the staff doesn’t have to be nice. Pretty bummed about this and will have to consider if we will continue to stay here in the future. One exception - Abigail our hard working waitress that we saw for breakfast dinner AND lunch the next day was delightful. A real standout from the rest.”
“The location was perfect, there was many places 5-15 mins away to eat at or buy food. And it is very close to the beach!!! I don't like the lights in the bathroom but whatever. And when you turn on the light in the bathroom thr fan goes on. Very good stay!”
“July 2024. We had a great time in the open air bar listening to a variety of different bands. Nice to hear a lot of Jersey shore music. Prices are average for the area. Parking? Well, it's surf City in the summer.”
