Amazing how much can change just by joining Andare. I am in the best shape of my life, at 44 years old now. The coaches are amazing, they know I have a shoulder injury and modify my work outs to best suit me. All the members are great, very friendly and very welcoming to new comers. And I really like how it’s just everyday people there, mom’s, dads, teachers nurses, police officers. All people who are looking to better themselves and those are the people I want to be around. One of the best choices of my life joining Andare and highly recommend to anyone who is looking to make a positive change in their life.”

“Old school beach gym vibes. Not many of its kind left. Hot cardio deck is unfortunate but also kind of awesome. Has some old, classic, wonderful machines, including what looks like some early-gen nautilus gear. Two benches, a squat rack, 2 smith machines, and a solid dumbbell rack round out the offerings. They have a low pull that will make you feel like Arnold at Venice Gold's circa 1973. A real gem of a place.”

“Workers are nice and helpful. Gym is very small and gets very crowded, but overall good atmosphere and a good vacation workout spot. Only 4 stars cause the prices are a little extreme for a day pass.”

At the direction of my physician, I joined the gym to lose some weight and build strength. I was very nervous and yes, feeling intimidated. But my experience has been wonderful. I learned quickly that everyone is just doing their own thing and like the ad says I feel the environment is judgement free. Actually, most people are helpful and the staff is very friendly. The gym is always clean and the equipment seems to be well maintained. I'm glad I joined and am looking forward to reaping the rewards of my efforts!”

712 E Bay Ave, Manahawkin“This retro fitness is a no-nonsense gym, just a bunch of great members there to get their work in and not clog up machines and equipment. No selfie sticks, no ego lifters, nobody trying to pick up a date. And pretty much everyone respects the idea of wiping things down and put things back where they belong. It gets a little more packed in the summer when LBI picks up but they have great hours which allows you to avoid the crowds. And the staff is great, making sure the place stays in order and organized and so friendly as they greet you on the way in.”
“I started as the grit workout 1x a week. It evolved to 3x a week grit. After a few weeks it was clear CrossFit was the best fit. I was nervous with having to lift weights but it was such an easy transition! The whole time the coaches and other gym members made me feel comfortable and welcome. I’ve grown so much with this gym and I can’t wait to see my progress!”
