Okay people! Listen up! Hairapy is the best place ever! I have tried many different types of salons and nobody treated me they way they did with such respect.I have coil curls and not really sure how to maintain or really take care of them. Lindsay took the time to explain everything before doing it and took the time to show me how to take care of my curls and how to straighten my hair with out burning it. She was absolutely amazing and I felt comfortable and trusted everything she does. She took her time and made sure I was comfortable and talked me through the process. I can’t wait to go back. You guys need to give it a try. Everyone who works there is super nice.

Jessica did an incredible job on my daughter’s hair. My daughter had her hair done elsewhere and the stylist did a terrible job leaving my daughter in tears. We called Hairapy and they told us to come in for a consult this morning. When Jessica saw it she said she would be able to fix it and even offered for us to come back in an hour which we did. My daughter left smiling ear to ear and said she will go to Jessica for the rest of her life. Highly highly recommend them. So caring and nurturing and so sweet plus extremely talented

Marina does an amazing job cutting hair. She is thorough making sure it’s even and she’s taking the time and attention to give you the perfect cut. I sent my picky mom her way and she was very happy with her cut as well. I recommend Hairapy (Marina specifically) to everyone that compliments my hair!

if i could leave 0 stars, i would. i’ve been here a few times, and the woman who did my hair those times was amazing (i can’t remember her name but she had red and black hair and a lot of tattoos) but when i called, they told me she wasn’t there anymore so they put me with someone else, i believe her name was sandy or something like that. my hair looks terrible. i will never be going back there. i have a shoulder length bob and i just needed it trimmed because it was getting a little unruly, and she took about an inch off and it’s super uneven and the back is angled even though i didn’t want it that way. i’ve never had a haircut that looked this bad. never again will i go to this salon

Horrible experience! My son went for a haircut and explained he likes his long curly hair. After the haircut it didn’t even go down to his eyes and all his curls are gone. BEWARE IF YOU HAVE LONG CURLY HAIR YOU LOVE!!! Will not be coming back!!

Jessica did a great job with my hair bleaching. Received a lot of compliments from friends and family. Super cool vibe in there and all the other girls were super inviting. Look forward to going again!

My husband and I recently relocated from Long Island to Suffern. I ran into our new neighbor who had just had her haircut. It looked fantastic! She gave me the name of the salon and her stylist, Sandy. I called and made an appointment with Sandy. I had my haircut done today. WOW! Sandy is absolutely fabulous! She REALLY listened to what I wanted and did exactly what I had requested! My hair looks amazing! Sandy is not only a very gifted stylist, but she is such a pleasure to converse with. So down to earth and makes you feel so comfortable right from the start! I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at Hairapy and would highly recommend this salon. You won't be disappointed!

The first time she cut my hair was good and then the second time I went, she cut my hair too short and the way she cut my wavy hair made it look awkward and ragged. I’m really disappointed and it really left me really upset since my hair is one of the things that make me feel confident.

Update: Not happy with the haircut. It’s been more than 2 weeks after the haircut and it looks like an umbrella over his head. ( Even after going back and getting it corrected)My son got his haircut here. It was great until I washed his hair. It needed blending and I gave them a call to fix it. They were sweet to take us in immediately and correct it.

Jessica was amazing! She really knows her stuff!! She did my highlights/balyage so beautifully and understood exactly what I wanted without me having to really explain myself. Its also clear that she wants to do whats best for your hair. I felt really taken care of by her. Definitely recommend!!

Sandi, the owner, has cut my hair, styled my hair, and sometimespermed my hair for many years and I am always happy with what she does. She is always a smiling, accommodating, kind, skilled hair stylist. We always have a great conversation as she works on my hair. Sandy is open for experiment but knows hair very well and happy to advise to make it look good. I tried to get a haircut I liked on pictures from my previous salon and they could not get it even with back and front pictures views and my comments. Sandy did - and even explained why they found it difficult - and it has been my favorite cut ever (it is difficult but she is a master of it!). The salon is a hidden jam: small, yet professionally decorated and fun, very welcoming and nice, great products, including a free advice on what to use on your hair, always make me feel like I visited a good friend. Have been using it for a couple of years now and always happy with it.

I was warmly welcomed as a walk-in with a disaster on my head of my own creation. Tracey quietly assessed the mess I'd made and gave me a great, no hassles cut. I used to go to this salon when it was known as Cosmo's, and the narrow space has been modernized superbly. Plus (and this is always a winner for me), several issues of People magazine on the coffee table. Did you know salons have to pay for that now? That's why it has disappeared from salons and doctors' offices. But I digress. Very pleased with Tracey and the whole experience. Thank you!
