Too many times to count where the bus doesn't arrive on time. Today, the bus arrived a half hour later than it was scheduled to. When I asked the bus driver why he was late, he stared ahead and says "problems with the bus". No accountability whatsoever with this company. How are they even running?UPDATE: Nothing has changed with this bus company. I wish I had better options, They are just so unreliable. 45 minutes late today. They don't advertise a phone number to call to find out what's going on. They shouldn't be running anymore and commuters should be offered better alternatives.

The system deleted my ticket. They wouldn’t give me my money back. Terrible service. Find other options if you can.

East side busses don’t show up, or they skip Ridgewood Park & Ride stop because they are full. The company doesn’t provide communication about changes or delays.Seems very strange that this issue is not being resolved after many years, since most customers are commuting to their work and rely on this company.

The worst customer service I have ever encountered in my life.1. Buses are disgusting( gum on seats, trash everywhere)2.Buses are never on time,15-25 minutes past the scheduled time for a arrival3. Bus drivers are very rude. I had exact change, he refused it accept, told me to go around and buy a ticket, in the most inappropriate manner you can think of. When I asked him his name he kept giving me false names.If there was another bus company, I would never take this bus again. Absolutely the worst. Advice to the company, please train your workers on the basics of customer service, because they clearly have none.

Awful service, rude drivers, inability to arrive on time. The train has way better service and allows you to get home because they actually have the seats to service the customers. Will never ride this awful POS service again.

Majority of drivers are rude, and when you ask them a question, seems like there deaf. Buses, for the most part are clean, and occasionally, you get one with a horrible smell coming from the bathroom. Seems like buses only go, at, or below the speed limit. Which makes them a hazzard on the roads, and late to your destination. What's most frustrating is, buses not showing up. This I can't understand. You have a schedule, why not adhere to it? Maybe if they had competition, they could offer better services. Also, the ticket policy is a joke. Tickets have expiration dates, and male or female on them. Why not offer a monthly pass that you could show the driver? Along with a weekly pass. You could still sell individual tickets, and round-trips. This would be much appreciated by daily/regular commuters if we could just show a pass. This will also speed up the boarding process, and cut back on paper.

The WORST EXPERIENCE ever Bus 13154 From NY Port Authority- Monticello NY The trip that should be less than 2 hours took 3.5 and if this is not enough the smell of the bathroom is HORRIBLE. Seems nobody has clean that bathroom in a while, as soon the bus pull out of NY Port Authority the bathroom start smelling like nobody has flushed the toilet on the last 4 months. A passenger decided to walk around spraying air freshener which helped for like 2 minutes. Not sure if the health department could intervene on this but I believe is completely unacceptable. Is there a way to give negative stars? This bus and the driver deserve a -10

Very unsatisfied with this company from no shows, impromtu gate changes etc... Great for those following a regular schedule, terrible for those who work several different tours. May have to start driving myself to/from the city.

This is good bus service. I've taken it several times and most of them have gone well. I don't get why so many people write bad things about Shortline because it gets people where they are going in a good amount of time, and it's good bus servicce.
