I absolutely love my school. The atmosphere, staff, and students are all awesome. The campus is stunning and clean. There are tons of resources available and lots of groups and orgs to join. The class sizes are small and this makes your relationships with your professors personal. I am so glad I chose this school, even in my 3rd year. I highly recommend this school. It's affordable and truly a hidden jewel.

I currently attend Ramapo College and I have come to realize that this staff doesn't care about your well-being, they're all in it for the money. Not only is a majority of the staff uncaring, but they're rude and unknowledgeable as well. I have talked to many different advisors in my field and they all tell me completely different information that not only left me running around, but stuck at the school longer because they told me I need classes that I didn't even need. Don't waste your time here, invest your time and money in another school.

An amazing college in a wonderful area. The campus is beautiful and designed very well. The college was (surprisingly) very lively on the weekend, and is known for its competitiveness and rigor in NJ. The residence areas are beautiful and also set up /designed very well. Overall it's a great college that is definitely underrated.

It's amazing. Changed my life as any college should but really opened my eyes to the world. I participated in three study abroads, two alternative volunteerism spring breaks, national student exchange, job as a resident life RA, student leader and yes, Graduated in four years. More soon. (Draft)

I just returned from "accepted students day" with my "significant other" and her 2 girls, one of which will probably be attending Ramapo in the fall. We had a nice tour, and I was really impressed with the campus.... if you view it for what it is: a super-nice, small, up-and-coming liberal arts college. Personally, I'm an Ivy-leaguer with a graduate degree. Having said that, we felt that Ramapo was right for this very hard-working student, who just wasn't stellar enough (academically) to consider some of the big-league schools. Ramapo has small class sizes... 35 students max, even in introductory classes, and they seem serious about offering personal guidance, even with currently "undecided majors", to help insure that students graduate in four years. Although she is currently wait-listed at (academically) higher ranking schools, we think Ramapo will provide the best environment for this particular student to flourish. The campus is nice, and they are building a new nursing school building. We just felt at home there. I think the school is large enough to provide a broad array of opportunities, while still being small, which is great for some students who don't want to get lost in a large university (like Rutgers, which is great, but just not right for some students). I will update this review once she is enrolled and under way.

Ramapo = Hogwarts+Wallstreet. Their new business school is state of the art and gorgeous. It has it's own trading floor and multiple computer labs. The campus is expansive, lush with trees, and home to some very old historic buildings. A majority of the teachers are young (30+), but this means they support new ideas and aren't set in their ways. There are obviously a few bad apples in the faculty, but overall everyone belongs. Things to know: Parking Permits are a must and the Security here can be sweet hearts, but like any Security service, the power can go to their heads. So speak respectfully, and don't give them an excuse to make your day miserable. also, PARK IN YOUR SECTION. Registration: Registering can be hectic but there are tons of advisers to help you figure out your plan. Know your registration dates and pay for classes early. I know some people that have gotten dropped from required courses because they didn't pay on time. Fun: Go hiking, go walking, go swimming. You have the Ramapo reservation just a few minutes away. There is an indoor swimming pool, a rock gym and a workout room on campus. People: Students here are friendly, intelligent, and usually driven. There a few that do not fit this description, but seek out the ones worth while and grow your network. JOBS: Ramapo hosts multiple job fairs, seminars, speeches and events. There are entire wings of the school dedicated to finding you internships and jobs. They will help you with your Resume, business cards, and CV's. Use the resources they have. They are there for you. I would definitely come to this school again and wish I came here first, before I studied at Rutgers.

Some of the greatest moments of my life were spent at this gorgeous campus in the middle of $$$$Bergen County$$$$ Graduated in 09. Academics are getting tougher by the minute. They expanded their curriculums a great deal from 05-09 and it appears they just continue to grow. Ready for the lowdown? 1. Amazing Dorms- best around 2. Great up & coming academics 3. Basketball team is pretty goo- usually gets the St. Pats/St. Ants kids 4. Snobby, annoying little girls that think they are hot 5. Hottest girls are truly LBD status 6. Security can be sticklers, but only if you are terrible to them 7. To further Scotts comment about the B-School- not accredited, but working to become accredited, hopefully by 2012. LBD Scale- 8. Tough academics coupled with great dorms = recipe for premature LBD
