Good when they pick up the phone. Called on a Friday to ask about price for DW1 ATF fluid. Operator was super friendly and got the info quickly. I called back the next morning at opening to place an order (7:30 AM) and no answer. I called back again at 7:35. No one. Called again at 7:45. No answer. Called again at 7:50. No answer. Why advertise that your parts department opens at 7:30 AM if no one is actually there?

I brought my car in last week for a simple estimate. After sitting in the waiting room for an hour I went back to the service desk and was given a complete runaround. I was told they would call me later that day with the prices. Never heard from anyone. The service which used to be excellent has gone completely downhill.

On my last service appointment, I was told that my car battery failed its test. I told them that the battery was replaced in January of 2021 and that it is still under warranty and should be replaced for free. My service advisor told me that the current battery that was replaced in Jan 2021 which also failed and was replaced due to being under warranty means that I am not eligible for another free battery. How does this make sense? Why even have a warranty if it is not honored? Is Honda using batteries that barely last for two years?Very disappointed in Honda and there policy.

Paid $800 for a starter I did not need. Car was intermittently not starting, no electrical power at all. Mavis already checked it out, ruled out starter and alternator. Battery was brand new. Honda ran diagnostic claimed I needed new starter. Paid $837 for new starter, which did not fix the problem. Brought car back and suggested they check the battery connection. After cleaning battery connections, as I suggested (I am not even a mechanic!) it resolved the issue. So I was charged for part I never needed. Well tonight I receive a bill for $78 for EZ pass charges which claimed I crossed the GW Bridge 4 times!!!! Here's the thing I havent been over that bridge in 3 years!!!! Honda Mahwah lacks integrity and if they can mess up an EZ pass transaction and misdiagnose my car they cannot be trusted to service my car anymore. They lost a customer, as I wont be purchasing my next car from them as initially planned. This is why dealerships have such a poor reputation for servicing cars. Scam artists.

I was visiting from out of town when an alert light came on in my dashboard. I brought my car in without an appointment asking for help- Ben was kind, worked me into their already booked schedule, and ultimately their check found just a tire pressure issue. They topped off my tires, reset my light, and sent me on my way free of charge. I could not be more thankful for their help and professionalism at a time when I felt truly stuck.

I brought my car for the second time to repair the radio. It's crackling so obviously the connectors or the radio itself is broken. Happens on all channels. And when I picked up my car the front windshield on the drivers side (right down the middle in the line of vision) was cracked. After the Service Manager Matt went off and looked at videos ( this was a stalling factor because the car was checked in by the service manager and the crack was not there or noted). After 15 minutes he came back and said he couldn't find any footage of when this happened on their site - and said he wasn't fixing the crack. So I left very frustrated. And I was not in the car 5 minutes and the radio started crackling worse than ever. And the worst part neither Michael the Service person that checked in our car or his boss Matt would answer the phone when I tried calling back to tell them the radio is worse than ever. So in summary I brought the car to have the radio fixed once and for all. And it's worse and now I have a cracked windshield. And no one took responsibility for any day f this.

Got my CRV serviced here. The staff was very professional from start to finish. Honored 2 coupons that a friend gave me, even though the coupon didn't match my VIN. Advisor also kept me in the loop about my vehicle. Service was done efficiently & w/o any issues. Thought I was going to need a new weatherstripping @ the bottom of the windshield, after tech & advisor both looked at it, I was told it's in good condition, no need to replace it. They could have easily told me to replace it to make some more money off of me, but didn't.

Been waiting here for 2 hours for an oil change. People Who came in after me are already gone. And they raised the price almost 100% from $35 to $60. I'll be going to a quick lube or somewhere else next time.

Dont go to this dealer shop. Worst ever. First when I called, they will hook you with price but when you are there, price goes up, spending 2 3 hrs there for nothing and will tell you I am sorry. I think Honda HQ needs to take out them if thinking about brand. Dont go.

I had an amazing experience here and with Ms. Stone! She was very professional, knowledgeable and responsive of my car issues. Mahwah Honda was able to get all my car issues repaired within a day. Something I will never experience at Tenafly Honda.

I come here to bring my mom's car in for service because shes scared of shops/dealerships scamming her but honestly at this dealership, i have nothing bad to say. They're honest & don't try to sell jobs that aren't needed.. I drive 40 min just to go to this dealership even though i live closer to 2 other honda dealers...That should tell you something lol! Only downside is that depending on the day, the wait can be a tragedy lmaoo

I recently bought a 2009 Honda CRV for my son in November 2020. When the vehicle was sold to us no one at Mahwah Honda disclosed that the starter may be bad. Fast forward eight months later and the vehicle does not start. I spoke with Max who sold us the vehicle about the vehicle not starting. He referred me to his manager Melvin. Melvin advised us to have the vehicle towed to Mahwah Honda to have it diagnosed. My son had it towed last week. Mahwah Honda diagnosed it and said the vehicle needs a new starter, and a new battery. I spoke with Alex at Mahwah Honda who informed us that because we did not purchase a warranty for the vehicle, we would have to pay to have the the starter replaced. Mahwah Honda would not be covering the cost of replacing the starter. We've had the vehicle for less than a year, and are not able to drive it. I have maintenance records that states that the vehicle had an issue starting before. the starter was never replaced. Mahwah knew this because they had the maintenance records. They knew the starter would potentially malfunction at any time. And instead of fixing it before selling the vehicle, they chose not to replace it and decided to sell the vehicle with a potentially defective starter. They also neglected to warn us, the buyers, that the starter may potentially malfunction, based upon the maintenance records from the previous owner. I think this is very deceptive practices by the Mahwah Sales and Service departments, specifically Max, Melvin and Alex. I would advise potential customers to NOT buy any vehicles from Mahwah Honda. They seem to knowingly sell vehicles with defective parts. They will not disclose any potential defects to the buyer. Likely because they want to pass the cost of repairing the vehicles onto the buyer. Or they want you to buy their warranty, which means you're paying more for a vehicle that you're expecting to break. Note that we went to Mahwah Honda after visiting a nearby dealer with a history of "cleaning up" pre-owned cars and selling them without inspecting and replacing defective parts. Mahwah Honda assured us that they were not like that dealer. Less than a year later, they seem to engage in the same unscrupulous behavior. BUYER BEWARE. Mahwah Honda cannot be trusted. I'm posting this after several conversations with the staff at Mahwah Honda (Melvin-Sales Manager, Alex-Service Manager) to try and resolve this issue without having to disclose their practices. P.S. I am happy to share the maintenance records with the starter issues with any potential customers.

I would give a zero star if I could. This dealership really is absolutely awful!!!! Someone by the name of Mark Blazeiewicz was my service advisor, he was very rude, and short with me! Horrible customer service. I could tell that he was just trying to make up things, that were wrong with my car, I not knowing better agreed to have my breacks done. I was also informed that, I needed 3 new tiers, and the one with a hole could not be fixed. After this I called my macanic, who told me not to do the work there, and bring the car to him. When I got here they told me my tiers were fine and we're able to fix the tier with a whole. The macanic then proceed to tell me that, resurfacing the rotors which they had told me I had to do turns out his going to warp the rotors and cost me a lot more money in the near future. I am now out a couple of hundreds of dollars and we'll need to know replace the rotors in the near future never go to this dealership ever!!!!!!!!!!!!
