Guy from service dept. On phone just told me I was giving him "too much work for a phone call" because I asked for a price quote on struts for front shocks and full price to replace coils struts etc... lolol what an absolute lazy joke of a human being.

My recent experience with Mahwah Hyundai service was terrible. Despite having made my appointment well over a month in advance and dropping my car off the evening before my appointment, my car was not finished on the first day, and I did not find this out until I contacted THEM. This was at 4:30 p.m.
My handler Wayne, was non apologetic, unfriendly and unprofessional.
I then spoke to a manager, Paul, who was much nicer to deal with, however they could not give me a loaner car. I was promised an uodate on my car by 12 p.m the next day. Nobody called. I was without my car for TWO FULL days. I had to use my husband's car as I had no coverage for work and he lost two days of work.
2 days without a car for an oil change and to fix a recall on my computer.
They never washed my car as promised and did not fill my windshield washer fluid - it was bone dry. I had to go out and buy a gallon and also went to a car wash and paid to have my car done.
All in all my experience was extremely unpleasant and stressful and I am seriously debating on whether I will ever bring my car back there.
Absolutely horrendous customer service.

Update: Ashley was great and resolved my issue.
Rick and Jim were amazing! Had a nail in my tire, took my car in right before work and were able to fix it and were fair. They were extremely polite, courteous, professional, and very personable. Highly recommend! Other dealership services need to be like them

Went back to give them another try since steven had worked so hard to make it right my last visit. He did not disappoint. He did everything he could to make this a good experience with good customer service. I hope they value him as an employee.

Went in for an oil change today, had an appointment that we had to make a month in advance! (for an oil change) I'm sorry but over 4 hours to get an oil change is unacceptable!! I don't care how nice your waiting room is. This was our last time at the mahwah hyundai service center! Don't bother complaining eigther because it seems like it's a normal thing and no one cares! I never write reviews but I had to for this! if I could I would not even give them one star. Save yourselves time and the stress!!

I am 62 year old woman and thought I’ll pay extra money at a dealer to get it done correctly , boy what a mistake this was.I went in for simple oil change and the flush my coolant. I was charged $319.00 for the service. There was nothing wrong with my car.A few weeks later, I checked my antifreeze reserve had no coolant. I had to go purchase antifreeze and put it in myself. I called them up and told them that they caused this leak and had to fix it.I left my job early, went and got their 1:30 at 4 o’clock the service scheduler called me on my cell phone and told me my car would cost another $400 to fix the hose. I could not believe what he was saying. I couldn’t believe he was calling me on the phone when I was only two rooms away from him, I went to the room I told him I would sue him. He reduced it to 200.00 at that point, I was furious I wanted to talk to the manager. He said if I could just pay for the hose He he would reduced it just to the price of the hose that was $52. However, no new hose was ever placed. Don’t trust Liberty Hyandia service they are liars and cheats

This service locations is absolutely disgusting. I had scheduled a recall service check for my car months ago for an appointment today12/12/2023 at 10AM. I also asked that they look at the sunroof becuz it was slow to close/has low power. Service Advisor Claudia Arguello said it may take up to 2 hours for the job becuz of the additional request to check sunroof. I gave them 2 hours and 45 minutes before I went to ask for an update. Claudia informed me the crew was on lunch but she would look into it and get back to me. I went back to waiting and after about another 20 minutes I went back to ask for the update. This time I went to a different advisor as Claudia was with someone else. This advisor informed me that my car was never touched and was still waiting to be serviced. WHAT????!!! I told him to have my car brought back so I can leave and I wanted to see the manager. Manager Paul Vasquez shows up minutes later and after I explained everything to him he said he’ll investigate and get back to me tomorrow. I said why can’t you call your service team now becuz I would love to know how they decided which cars to work on being that I have been here since 10 AM and everyone who came after me was already serviced and gone? How am I supposed to analyze this scenario as a black woman who came in with an appointment sitting in waiting area with no communication/updates for 3 hours just to hear that my car was NEVER SERVICED? I can’t help but feel discriminated against. This Claudia woman knew the car was never touched when I went to inquire about my car 20 minutes prior yet she proceeded to tell me she would get update after the guys got back from lunch. Manager Paul tried to act like rescheduling with a loner car would be his best efforts to rectify the situation, HOWEVER, time is money. You all took 3 hours from me today that I can’t get back. Plus gas, plus mileage. You’d better think of another way to situate this situation! I already put in an even more formal complaint with corporate becuz what’s not going to happen is me allowing ANYONE to discriminate against me. PERIOD!

The first day I received my new car there was a crack in it. It took over 2 mths to fix and the communication was terrible.
