The receptionist is very rude. Parents unfortunately purchased cars here and I thought to continue and check these people out. Absolutely regret even wasting my breath to interact with someone of that nature. Visit Paramus Hyundai if you want great customer service! I would never recommend this place to anyone!!

Service department had my car for 3 weeks and could not figure out what was wrong with it. After the 1st week, I had to call them because they never reached out to me.
I asked the Service employee multiple times for a loaner car and they refused.
I asked how much time was actually being spent on my car...the response was maybe not even an hour if they had time....Time?? They had the car for 3 weeks- seems like plenty of time.
When, I finally had enough of their nonsense, I asked for my car back which by the way I drove there. They stated on my invoice that " customer refused service or repairs". What a joke!!!
They charged me for a new battery that it did not need because the car had to be jumped to get it on a tow truck and then jumped again to get it off the truck into my driveway.
The Corporate Customer Care Department was a waste of my time, as well.
This would be the last dealership or service center that anyone I know will ever do business with.
Absolutely obvious that Customer Satisfaction is not a priority and all they care about is charging customers for repairs that are not necessary.
Stay away from this place!!!

ould put Tanya in charge of all cutomer service relations! She dealt with me a very hard customer, and has all the answers to satisfy my questions! She is a wonderful representative of yoie business!!! If I had my own business I would hire her in a heart beat! Thank you so much Tanya!!!

Tanya was our sales representative. She was amazing! She was very pleasant and easy to work with. We felt very comfortable at this dealership. Great atmosphere! Definitely would recommend to go to Liberty Hyundai if you're looking to buy a Hyundai!! I give this dealership a 10 out of 10!

So I just bought a brand new 2024 Tucson plug-in hybrid, The day after I take delivery all the lights on the dash go off. I call them up and the only available appointment is a week and a half out, when I asked about a loaner they said they can't give me one. So The morning of the appointment I called to confirm they're going to be taking my car and they confirmed. I arranged for a friend to come with me so I can drop off the car so they can drive me back home, it's about an hour away from me. When I arrive at the dealership the service person takes my car gives me a claim ticket and tells me to go wait at the service desk, The guy behind the desk was busy doing something and couldn't help me yet. After about 20 minutes The guy looks up at me and tells me, oh, you're not a current customer we can't help you and gives me back my keys. I tried to explain that I had a confirmed appointment and I verbally confirmed it a few times over the phone, but he just repeated the same thing again and wouldn't talk to me anymore. Now I'm stuck with a car with problems and nobody to talk to.

We recently purchased a Hyundai Tuscon from Liberty. Our sales person was Damon. He was very helpful and easy to work with. He answered all our questions and made us feel very comfortable. We have been very happy with our purchase and are happy to recommend Damon and Liberty Hyundai.

We had a great experience with Cliff. Very courteous and knowledgeable about the vehicles. Took his time to show me vehicles with different colors and interiors when we were having trouble deciding. Really made our last car buying experience a breeze. We will definitely be recommending him and Liberty Hyundai to friends and family, as well as returning to him when it’s time for a new vehicle again. Highly recommend!

This was a 4.5 up to the point that I bought the car. It was a little bit of a hassle to get them to accommodate my schedule by negotiating via email. Once they understood I did not have time for a call, we arrived at a price with which we could both live using email. It would have been a 5 if they had just negotiated by email from the start.
However, once I bought the car, the salesperson (who said they'd be available to answer any questions or concerns going forward) ghosted me, refusing to answer a concern I had about the car. Of course, I continued to receive emails asking if I was still interested in buying a car. Fortunately, I was able to resolve the matter through another dealer.
To make things worse, they never called me to say my plates arrived. When I called to ask about the plates because my temporary tags were about to expire, the receptionist had a terrible attitude when I asked why no one either mailed me the plates or let me know they were ready. I had to leave work to drive 2 hours to pick up the plates, where the same receptionist continued to have an attitude. Sorry Liberty Hyundai, but the post-buying experience has all but guaranteed I will not purchase from you again in the future.

The price on the vehicle we purchased was fine, but the rest surrounding the purchase was very much not okay. Our salesman Edwin took us to their off lot to look at a vehicle, and proceeded to drive extremely aggressively and fast with me and my wife in the vehicle, to the point where I had to ask him to slow down three times. The car we purchased was supposed to be certified pre owned, until three weeks after our purchase when we had to come back to the dealership to 'certify' the car and my wife had to wait for two hours for work that should have already been done. Just felt sloppy and rushed through every step of the purchase. I'm not unhappy with the dealer entirely, but it felt very unprofessional for many parts of the purchase.
UPDATE - So, after about 7 months of ownership, the Tucson we bought has a SEVERE misfire. As it's only just a touch over 31k miles, it is definitely still under warranty, and the dealership has told us that it will be OVER A MONTH to get our car in for service. No loaner cars available, no expedited service, just a callous 'wait your turn'.
Please do yourself a favor and NEVER shop at this dealership. I think this experience has pushed me away from Korean cars and manufacturers for the foreseeable future. If I could give it zero stars I would.

My niece bought a 2020 pre-owned Red Hyundai Elantra back in May 2024 for her birthday! This vehicle has been nothing but problems! They sold her a car with a trunk full of mold that supposedly no one was aware of. In addition, there was algae on the scissor jack and donut. That was fixed after multiple attempts of arguing with service manager. There was also a cut hose, the emergency brake didn’t work, the car is losing gas rapidly, and she was lied to about the vehicle being awd when in fact the car is fwd. Instead, they gave her $750 to fix the front bumper, and dent in the back door, plus a crappy paint pen. We had the car quoted to fix the front bumper and dent $2,400!
We came to find out the vehicle was never inspected or certified through the dealership. The service manager admitted that he never saw the car nor did he know where the car came from.My niece wanted things fixed and they weren’t done (front bumper and dent)Liberty Hyundai refused to take the car back! We have been fighting with them since May and corporate is well aware of these issues!
Currently, we got tired of the runaround and nonsense. So the vehicle got sold to a different dealership for $12,000 because of all the damage from the previous owners! Now the other dealership is stuck with fixing a car that should have been returned and totaled because of the mold with zero problem's! The car still wreaked of mold in the trunk, and the inside of the vehicle!
My niece is driving a brand new vehicle that is safer and is not a mold box! They really took advantage of a 17 year old girl that put down $2,200 of her own hard earned money! SHAME ON YOU FOR TREATING A 17 YEAR OLD GIRL LIKE THIS!

I just Leased my third vehicle with Liberty Hyundai. Ahmed Nasser guided me through the process from start to finish. I've been very satisfied with the customer service and the vehicles that I have leased have worked well for me. Would definetely recommend them.
