To anyone looking to apply at this location: Questionable management and ethics. Hard work and dedication are not appreciated. Customers should not be permitted to put hands or become violent with staff.

Everything is easy to find, the store is clean and cashiers are friendly. I really like the 6 self checkout lanes as when you only have a few items, you can get in and get out very quickly.

This is scary. I got a sharp hard plastic piece in cake, I bought from Acme Mahwah today evening. I was about to swallow it. Luckily I feek it on time.

This ACME Pharmacy was one of the quickest and best experiences that I have had in quite a long while. I was filling an out-of-state prescription(s) [which has given me issues in the past on occasion] and they filled it without question or issue and applied discounts to the prescription(s) as I often have to pay out-of-pocket in several States. The Pharmay Technicians' are extremely friendly, helpful, and efficient and for their assistance I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND the ACME Pharmacy!

Good solid store in every sense. Decent comparisons to competitors not sure what others are complaining about it's far less busy than the local shoprite in NJ which makes for a much nicer experience

Definitely the worst grocery store that I have ever been to. Produce is horrible, was here the other day and unsuccessfully searched for a red pepper without wrinkles. The people that work in the butcher department are the most rude and unaccommodating employees in any butcher department that I have been to. There is a man and a woman and both are equally rude...as if they are annoyed that they have to help you. I honestly have never experienced attitudes like theirs in any grocery store that I have ever been to. I try to avoid having to shop in this location whenever possible but every now and then will stop in for convenience, more times than not I regret stopping here.

I came here today looking some particular things that I could not find on the shelf. One thing was beef liver (not for me, gross) but the guy in the meat department helped me locate in the frozen aisle. I also wanted coffee ice cream, which there was none left on the shelf. There was a guy there who was putting more ice cream out and found me some. I usually don't ask for help if I can't find something, but I'm glad I did and was helped with a smile.

As regular customers for we will no longer shopping at Acme - Mahwah. Purchased “Acme” brand chicken recently. Out of the package my wife detected an issue with the feel and smell of the raw chicken (rubbery). Under the Quarantine circumstances we called to discuss an exchange and to be sure they had chicken in stock. The management would not offer a replacement despite our having the uncooked chicken, packaging and receipt. Suggestion is to move on to other more customer friendly stores who stand by their product.

To enter the store in Mahwah,New Jersey the customers need to have their face and nose covered. People were being corrected in the store employees for not having both covered. I'm good with that part. While this was going on I noticed several employees with only their mouth covered and not their nose is where the problem starts. I brought it to the attention of the man who said he was the store manger. He only had his mouth covered. As he was walking away from me we exchanged

I have been going to this ACME for a couple years since they closed the one by me. Up until today I would have recommended them. But today they just lost a customer. I went in to buy a week's worth of food as I have been doing since this whole COVID-19 started. I had been going to ShopRite for everything but I heard that they restock faster. I figured I could maybe get some toilet paper since I haven't purchased any since January. They brought out some packages on my way to the line. I think it was a manager that brought them out and I took one. I asked if it was ok to take a second because wanted to pickup for another household. He agreed. Now I'm on line and a cashier stops me to say there's a limit of 1. I said he just told me (and apparently several other people) that I could take 2. She then gets him to make an announcement that you can only buy one. The customer next to me then offers to buy it for me as she wasn't buying any and the woman refused to give it to her but rather handed it to someone on the self checkout to buy. Then I see her and another cashier pulling toilet paper and other items out of people's carts while they wait in line. Nothing like making your customers feel horrible for trying to buy things they need during a pandemic. I get the limits but come on. This woman was a toilet paper grinch and looked so happy that she was able to stop me and other people from buying it. I'll take my business to ShopRite, Costco, BJ's, or anywhere else where the limit is 2 and they're much friendlier. P.S. They had more people searching carts than they did working the registers.

High prices. They really encourage self checkout which I don’t normally mind but their particular system has too many steps and if you don’t have an employee standing there to constantly help move the process along you’re up the creek.
