Received a call saying my doctor sent over a script and demanded I make an appointment. First, there is no order on my Quest portal. Second, I no longer use Quest because many negative reasons. Third, for this company to call me in the evening harassing me into an appointment is beyond rude.

Transferred and hung up on after on being on hold for 45 minutes for several times for several days. Spoke to 9 different people in 3 days. They had “lost” my results bc someone changed my
Birth year. When finally located they need my
Doctor to call to get the year fixed even though it was their mistake. Monopoly in my area so can’t really do anything about using them.

Most of the labs within the company are chaotic and extremely dysfunctional. The pay is decent in the non-technical areas (as long as you’re working overtime) and much better in the technical areas. The company provides tuition assistance, however, it’s vital to find a department with competent coworkers and leaders to truly enjoy your work environment (and this is a task itself). The individuals selected to represent the “leadership” team have questionable integrity (in all levels of leadership). The Specimen Processing departments are a literal nightmare. The leadership program offered by the company is laughable and new leaders are generally left to fend for themselves. High attrition and low morale is the name of Quest’s game.

Made appt for bloodwork at a Quest. Arrived 15 mins early. 40 mins later, I had to advise them I am disabled, couldn’t sit/stand much longer, and had made an appt. There was no receptionist so I banged on the door. A woman came and told me they’d be with me as soon as they could. Excuse me? I, intentionally, made an appt so as to avoid that exact situation. I requested an approximate time but she refused to give me one. My spouse was called back for his appt (almost an hour late). He went back to get his blood drawn. Guess what? His order was NOWHERE where staff could locate it. It was a mess. So, we had to leave with neither of us receiving what we needed. Oh, and because your staff doesn’t believe in appts I fell. If my spouse hadn’t been with me I’d be in hospital. You should be ashamed of the way your treat those who make sure you’re in business.
This was a lousy experience and you need to fix it. I’m going to be checking on the establishment and will, gladly report you to whatever agencies I can - unless you improve your treatment of your patients/consumers.
Horrible company. Your corporate office folks don’t want to hear about this, do they? How do I know? Call your damned corporate number to get help and see how far you get.
Yeah, I thought so.

If I could give a negative number, I would! My nephrologist ordered labs and included was a vitamin D test. It wasn't covered and Quest billed me $266.02 for the test. The doctor even recoded the test so it was covered. Nope! Interesting that the average test for vitamin D is $130 and Quest advertises the same test on their website for $69! Quest has a monopoly on lab tests and then, screws the customer if insurance will not cover the cost. I wrote a letter, with my payment, asking why? Guess what? No response to my questions, but they sure cashed my check in quick order. Nice corporate building and I am sure the CEO and upper management is compensated quite well, considering how they screw the customer.

Questionable/perhaps fraudulent billing: Quest sent me a bill for total amount of service (more than $1300) already covered and fully paid by Medicare and my secondary insurance. Telephone options provided on bill offer no opportunity to question this or speak to a customer service rep. I wonder how many times they double bill for the same service.

This place is the Headquarters. They do not have a clinnic for testings or appoinment. Waste of time. Coming here for walk in testing.

Lot of bad reviews here... Americans have it so easy yet we still complain about "wait times." Same people who complain about law enforcement, go out yourself in their shoes. I'm sure these employees work insanely hard. My experience with quest has been completely normal. Relax folks and imagine you lived in another country... they don't check the Google reviews in Iran

Every year, the lab results can’t be located (even though ALL identifying info is triple checked and verified at the lab!). I have to contact customer service repeatedly to no avail. Once in a while, Quest will send the lab report directly to the physician but when the same copy has to be uploaded to the patient portal, they put on a magnificent display of incompetence. They can’t be bothered and respond with some vague nonsensical excuse about insurance which has nothing to do with uploading the existing lab results. No matter how respectfully this serious matter is raised, expect to keep calling and emailing over a long period of time.

Quest has to be the most mismanaged organization I have had the displeasure of using in a very long time. At the Roosevelt/Jacksonville, FL location there is not enough staff to cover the patients waiting for service. How can Quest expect to have a waiting room full of people, some of them sick, and not receive horrible reviews. It's as if Quest enjoys making people uncomfortable and angry. There isn't a way to get an online appointment within a week, or so, due to the lack of staff. Again, corporate greed wins over the working people.

Don't go here even if you have an appointment you'll still have to wait 1.30 min.

Horrible experience. They use monopoly power in my area to give completely useless customer service. I made an appointment..confirmed via email then when I showed up they closed early 20 min before my appointment time. I'm standing outside wondering why the door is locked. Called them ...getting a human is almost impossible. The sign on the door had their hours they were supposed to be open. They send me an text 30 min after my appointment time saying sorry we had to cancel your appointment. A little too late

Don't use Quest. Use LabCorp or another vendor. Ask around. It won't take long for you to find a horrific experience at Quest from someone you know. Quest should be investigated for how poorly they treat customers.

Leaving this review to let y'all know you need to work on customer service. If anything goes wrong, it's nearly impossible to rectify it. Very unhelpful system for patients.
