Just bought a pre owned Acura RDX from Madison Honda. Chad Sanders was our salesperson. Chad is awesome on every level. I'd highly recommend working with him. With all car dealerships, I strongly suggest doing your homework on all of the fees above and beyond the mandatory sales tax and doc fees BEFORE the test drive.

Went there with my Wife with serious intention of buying a Honda ExL touring hybrid we found the vehicle on true car and decided to check it out further we were assigned a sales person named Matt we test drove the vehicle came back they didn't have any in stock one would be coming in in a few weeks we made an offer and he pressed us on a deposit he wanted the deposit first before he could confirm our offer we refused and became very disrespectful and rude opens the door and requested that we leave never have I seen such rude and disrespectful behavior toward customers if I could give them a 0 I would.l never had a more negative experience in buying a new car the dealer knows what he do if it's too hot in the kitchen then get the fuk out and do something else

I went yo Madison Honda this week just inquiring about a Used Honda Pilot EXL. I met the salesman named Chad. He was very friendly and and understanding. He worked every angle to make a deal that i can afford. After we agreed on a payment plan he introduced me to Ron who is in financing. Ron went the extra mile to help make this deal possible. I never had such a rewarding experience buying a car. They make you feel like part of their family. I highly recommend this dealer if you ever want to buy a car. You wont be disappointed!!! Charging $6,000 over sticker on a base compact economy sedan and calling it a "marketing adjustment" is simply not acceptable. It's a Civic, not an Escalade. I know of no other brand or dealer doing this on this type of vehicle in 2023. I also overheard one of the salespeople relishing getting "14k over sticker" from a customer on a Ridgeline. Hopefully that person doesn't end up dangerously upside down on an auto-loan. Buyer beware.

I had a very pleasant experience with Steve Dann selecting and purchasing a 3 year old low milage honda pilot after my 7 year old pilot was totaled in an accident. I am a Florida resident who summers in NJ and had the accident on our way to NJ. I am less satisfied with their registration process as I asked to have the old registration transferred to the new purchase so that i can maintain a FL vanity license plate. They refused and are issuing a new registration and license. This means I have to return the plate immediately to avoid having my drivers license voided by the state of Florida, and will have to apply for a new vanity plate in October. My call to Fl DMV said that transfer of registration is not difficult and costs $5. It could be more complicated from out of state I guess. I also was offered a Honda Care package while signing forms and paying for the vehicle. A one sheet broad description was all i was given or shown in writing. No long form description of the package was offered but it had to be elected immediately on a used car purchase. They apparently do not really want to sell this coverage or I would have been given a written description during the 5 day period when the car was being Honda certified before i gqave final approval and payment. No satisfactory explanation was given for this approach.

YOU MUST STAY AWAY from this dealership if you intend to get a quality product with reasonable service. I've received terrible management when it came to their approach when I informed them of a critical issues of a car that they are selling. They low ball any issue that you may have about the car, and try to deflate cost of repairs with disregard in the importance of significant vehicle quality condition.

Spoke to head of service Jon about my experience and they committed to fixing the problem. The tech in the shop said they regretted "misdiagnosing" the problem and they looked further into potential causes to find a burned out fuse and some wiring that needed replacing. It was fixed and two days post repair appears resolved. I wasn't charged for the second go round which I felt was the proper way to handle the issue. I appreciate the effort to make it right.

I recommend staying clear from Madison Honda if you're looking to trade in your car because your lease is up or lease/buy a new car. I went to them in 2020, leased a car, and had a great experience with a car dealer named Brandon. I miss you Brandon, where ever you are as you were kind and a good listener. In 2023, new manager and dealer I was previously working with no longer there. So, I get a call from a call from new car dealer, requesting I come in to look at my vechile and discuss numbers. I make an appointment, get there, car dealer takes a quick look at my car and said he would only give me numbers if I was willing to make a deal that same day. What! They called the wrong one. Politely left after 10 long minutes. This place is misleading and attempts to take advantage of customers. I will be taking my business elsewhere!

I had really hoped to have a positive experience at Madison Honda because of the convenience of the location to me; unfortunately, that was not remotely the case. Currently, Madison Honda is marking the price of cars up to 30% above MSRP on the most popular models. Just about every car on the lot is marked up in some way. I was quoted almost 60K for a Honda CRV Hybrid - that's absolute insanity. Even more ridiculous? Their "sister" location in Phillipsburg offers the exact same cars for MSRP and you can work with them to get something off sticker! I understand that many dealers are not budging on the MSRP of popular cars because of supply and demand but a 30% markup is ridiculous. The sales associate I worked with tried to suggest I should feel good if he took it down to only 20% above MSRP. The associate also showed me the "true value" of the car, yet still wanted to charge me more! I went home and requested quotes via AAA - Madison Honda sent me a quote. You can print out the quote and the dealer is supposed to honor the offer. The quote Madison Honda sent me through AAA was lower on the exact car I looked at! The associate I worked with reached out to me after I received the AAA quote and told me the price dropped as I walked out the door; it was still above MSRP. Really, just take the 40 minute drive to the Phillipsburg Easton Honda (their sister dealership) you'll save 15K and have a far superior sales experience. Also the sales rep I worked with was rude, aggressive, spoke down to me, and frankly, I think tried to take advantage of me because I am a woman. Honestly, worst car dealership experience I have ever had. Stay away from this dealer, go just about anywhere else or just try their sister dealership you'll be happy you did.
