Stocks a really nice selection of comic books. Besides the mainstream titles, a lot of indie stuff. Features a great selection of graphic novels and an added bonus; because it's attached to the Kubert comic book artist school, You can get a all your comic art supplies in one store!..

Great local store that offers a decent variety of options. Truly built for the novice and avid comic book collector. Where it's been an all too common trend of online shopping, Dewey's Comic City is throwback to the days of old. There's something tangible about going to a place to find your comic books and I'll definitely be going back.

Started going to Dewey's regularly after my local comic store went online only. And believe me, it took me a while hunting for the next perfect comic shop when my old one had done such an amazing job over the years. Unbelievable, but there are a lot of comic shops around that are just not professionally run (I'll just leave it at that) Dewey's is definitely a solidly run comic shop. I had been to them a few times in their old location, but parking was horrible over there so I didn't go often. Their new location in Dover actually has great parking so it is easy getting there. At first, the professionalism of the store sold me on making it my regular store. But as I kept going back, i realized just how amazing the staff is there. They know their comic stuff, and are really friendly. I found out after I had praised John (the main counter staff) to a friend that he has been there for many years and is a big part of the store's appeal... I can definitely see that as he's been nothing but amazing to me.. When I set up my pull list in the beginning, I mentioned that in addition to my main books could he throw anything Captain Cold related in. Yes, i know it was a vague request that couldn't be "programmed" easily, but I figured I'd mention it. And I've been delighted to find non-Flash books with Captain Cold showing up in my box. That was impressive on quite a few levels. I joined Dewey's for the professionalism, but am staying because of the friendliness and amazing attention to small details... highly recommended!

Cool local comic shop with great owner and staff. They are connected to the Joe Kubert School and as such have lots of wonderful free signing events with top comic artists. Connected to an art supply store as well.

Ok. Great for supplies. No real atmosphere. No one could say hello when you enter or speak to you when you're there.

The best comic book store in all of New Jersey. The manager John is one of the most nicest people you will ever meet and most helpful. Every time I leave the store I'm always satisfied because the man is like a Super Computer. He knows almost every thing about every comic their and gives you a great summary of every comic you ask him about. He also has a great sense of humor constantly putting up with my sarcasm which most people would pretty much want to strangle me nope not John. He just sits there and lets nothing get to him. On top of that they do get in pretty good back issues so if you are looking for a great comic book store I would highly recommend this place. He has lots of patience but for future references do not call him Zappy. He'll turn into a 15 foot tall hulk like creature and you won't want to get him mad. Ok I'm over reacting and this never really happened but all joking aside. Definitely check out this comic book store if you are in the area. John will make sure you are well taken care of. My favorite thing about this comic book store is you can also negotiate the prices on back issues with them and John is always fair with his prices. Also the store owner is a pretty damn cool guy as well.
