I was at ShopRite today and got weekly to get my groceries. Unfortunately I avoid the deli. There is a lady at the deli. Her name is Lisa. She is very disrespectful very nasty to the customers and if I’m getting lunch, me and she is there I leave she’s always looking for a fight and to start a problem hopefully she will not be there for long, so I feel more safe and comfortable getting lunch meat. I feel bad for the other employees that have to work with her.

This place increased their prices due to cauvet 19 And I'm really not a fan a shop rite anymore Date 7/72024 Since the first week of June sales are going on and I go into the store on Sunday. And the product is not on the shelves. Apparently you must be discontinuing my Newman's own coffee 6 weeks now. Lyndhurst shoprite doesn't have it. Belleville shoprite doesn't have it. If you's gonna discontinue it, you're gonna discontinue this customer. You make up your mind. I'm tired of going to the store. This is 6 weeks now and just to go to B j's to buy a 100 count box. Because you guys don't have my product in stock. I'd appreciate it. If you get your heads out of your backsides, stop doing what you want and start doing with the customers want

The store is big and has a lot of items but I wish they had more Asian things and their produce is hit or miss. They also insanely overpriced Ramune. Dropping my review another star because the pork we bought and left in the fridge for a couple days went completely rotten before we even opened it! Thank god we didn't eat it or we would have gotten food poisoning. The watermelon we bought was completely flavorless twice in a row. Fruit are constantly tasteless. I have no idea what's going on with this Shoprite but I am now looking to check out other Shoprites in the area because this is getting ridiculous.

Big and clean. Well stocked. Way better than the Shop Rite in Union City. Decent enough staff, everyone is nice and helpful.
UPDATE 2022: still big and clean. Still better than UC. Still nice people.
Terribly stocked now. Never has anything in. Disappointing.
UPDATE 2024: still big and clean. UC has gotten a little better, they’re a little better still big and clean. You see has gotten a little better, they’re a little better stocked and has better sales. Lyndhurst is still better though. Better stocked now, great produce and meat/fish dept.’s, nice people. Playing the Bangers, as they should. Restoring stars and recommending.
I really wish they would have better sales. I suppose that’s up to shop rite corporate in the end, but food is so pricey now, it would help.

Hi I’ve been going to this ShopRite for about 6 mths now. Each time I go I’m approached by a lady in management in a negative and unpleasant manner regarding my 20lb service dog and each time I have informed them and can show if required that she’s a service dog. But 6 mths on they’re still confronting me on this matter. Today the lady was more annoyed than usual and said that a lady had to leave the store bc of allergies and was my dog a service dog and I had to tell her again that she is a service dog. I then spoke to two much younger staff members who kindly told me that I didn’t need to show paper work when I came to the store.

I used to love this ShopRite but it keeps getting worse. They reduced the hours, making it more difficult for people who work unusual hours. If you go after 8pm be prepared for most aisles to be blocked by large boxes waiting to be unloaded, making it very difficult to find what you need and navigate through the store. They got rid of baskets so even if you're only buying a few things you have to use a cart. There are very few registers ever open so you are forced to use the self-checkout lanes, which have major issues with the scales recognizing your items. "Cost-cutting" measures have completely ruined this store.
