Had to give 1 would have like to give 0. What an embarrassment ordered a cake. They completely messed it up, my 3 year old grandson could have had better vision. Only order from the book design, decorators have no vision just robots who can only use the printers for design.

Customer service person was cursing at a customer yelling across the store. Employees walking all over store only 1 checkout open. Parking lot is very dark. Bathrooms are disgusting. I used to love this store. No one is helpful, everyone looks miserable. Sad how much they have changed and not for the better.

Located 10-12min from the MetsLife stadium, we decided to drop by and get groceries before heading home. It is like any other ShopRite. It has all the basics. This is my first time at this location and it felt like any other ShopRite location. There is plenty of parking. I wouldn't say it is the cleanest but it's not particular dirty either. The staff isn't really trying to help but maybe they were just busy?Just come here with no expectations. It has your basic needs.

I went customer service to buy 4 items ... I went straight up there because I knew the EBT card won't go through on regular cashiers... There were two young individuals " Relly" and "Antonio" completely lack of customer service skills... nasty arrogant attitude towards me... when all I did was explain what happened like two previous week ... that I have to use my cc and request a refund... These two kids were very disrespectful the way the delivered their message... instead of being more professional and without argument ask the store manager... They also look like they just woke and it was 9:30pm... disgusting... they argued with me in front of another customer.

Meat Department, one title - The Worse. This has happened twice during the holidays. I placed an order days ahead and came in on the scheduled day only to be told a) they can't find the order, b) they never carried the cut or c) we'll check our other stores and see if they have it. We'll call you. Don't bother waiting for that call; it's never coming. This is the store manager making that promise. Never again. I've since placed all my orders with Pampita Meat Shop in Jersey City which about a 20 minute drive. Here's their website: pampitameatshop.com Forget Shop Rite, they don't care.

The Deli needs a great deal of improvement I was so disgusted with the display of the open cold cuts that I decided not to buy anything.

This ShopRite is my go-to spot in Lyndhurst. It's in a shopping plaza next to a pet supply store, HomeGoods, liquor store, and some other storefronts, so there's plenty of parking and you don't have to worry about finding a parking spot. It's consistently decently stocked, well organized, and I've never had an issue finding what I need. Sometimes it's hit or miss depending on what time of day or day of the week you go, but overall I've never been disappointed and for the most part have been able to get what I'm looking for in one run. A tried and true grocery spot with a wide selection, but long waits to get checked out unless you're going in serious off hours.

I've been coming here for years and this store has just really gone downhill. Aside from the hectic parking lot, the staff seems to never be willing to help. They're almost always out of specific sale items which can be super inconvenient. My main issue is the deli department. Each time I go it's easily a half an hour wait there. They should hire more workers for the deli, people are always lining up and complaining. I feel bad for the workers because they literally always get complaints. Whoever runs this store should really look into that. Rarely do I get my cold cuts actually the way I ask for. I'm always paying for chunky thick slices of turkey and ham that are almost inedible. I finally had enough one day and headed over to the wallington shoprite. Much better quality and such a friendly staff.

Recently moved to this area and figured I would do the From Home shopping offered as I have done dozens of times at the Nutley, Bloomfield and Belleville locations. First and last time I will shop at the Lyndhurst Shop Rite. Most items ordered were out of stock and higher price items were substituted. In addition, out 5:45 slot, we arrived to pick up the groceries and still I sit waiting at 6:07 for them to bring g the groceries out (and I am the only customer waiting).

Made a visit to this location last week and boy was I disappointed. The deli dept was a joke. Their salads behind counter looked old. The workers were slow. I noticed that the workers attend to customers for both deli and seafood. As I was being waited on they made an announcement that dli closes from 7pm to 7:30pm for cleaning which is fine but they do not have this posted anywhere and you're out of luck if you get there one minute to seven.Checkout was awful. Why would you only have 3 registers open on a weekend ? I thought I was in Walmart. Won't be visiting therevahsin anytime soon. It was a waste of gas traveling all the way there.

Let me start out by saying THANK YOU to the employees who are working everyday to help the customers during this frightening pandemic. It is sadly obvious that your customers do not understand arrows in the aisles. You may need to put more and bigger arrows, make more announcements and do at least occasional patrols. I wanted to let you know that two of your employees doing their own personal shopping told me that they were going the wrong way because they work there. I guess that germs don't pass from employees to customers!! Seriously!! They need to get with the program too or we may never get off lockdown. It's so sad for me to think that my health and life depend on others, many of whom are too stupid to follow basic instructions.

I kind of lost respect for this place charging $5.99 for 24pack of poland spring water during state of emergency (corona outbreak) they are 20% higher than walmart, FOODTOWN?? and almost 25% more than target. I believe the local 7-11 sells their water at 5.99ish for a 24 pack.

Best general supermarket around. Beats all the competition. Produce and Bakery sections are excellent. Meats and Seafood had good selection. Grocery are cheapest of any competitor. Friendly staff and always plenty of checkout registers. Always phenomenal weekly deals.
